I've listened to a playlist of all the youtube demos for both. Ordered a Spectrum. If I need the C4 as well.... well so be it!

I don't know without actually playing with them!

This is my dilemma. I like mucking about with synth noises but it's unlikely I'd ever use them live. But I would use filter stuff live - a lot.

Seriously thinking about one of these. Will the C4 do everything the Spectrum can? Can the C4 load Spectrum presets? ta.

I'm cancelling the order. Might get the C4 instead.

I've got the rack and foot controller. Keeps the brain away from the floor and beer spillages. Far cheaper to replace the controller than the entire unit. Also means the controls are higher up - less bending over to adjust stuff.

Perhaps he means "I paid Overwater to assemble a box of stinky poo I had lying about?"

My stock response. "Can I have a go on your guitar?" "Only if I can have a go on your girlfriend." Does the trick.

The Aguilar 60s wind P pickup is fantastic. That's what I'd pick.

Yes and no. (Ignoring compression which I always like). Playing a set of Otis Redding tunes - nope. Playing a modern set with Muse, Jamiroquai, RHCP etc - yes. It all depends on the song.

I've got Aguilar P pickups - the 60s wind. It's brilliant. Thick and chewy tone but not muddy at all.

Markbass Marcus Limited Gold Line 800. Much better EQ freqs and the semi parametric. A real step up from the LM2/3

Send a polite email then. I once bought an iPad and the day after I got it the new one was announced and the old one was cheaper. I called them and they gave me the option of refunding the difference or sending it back so I could order the new spec one. I was polite and got what I wanted. An email doesn't have to be confrontational - that will only happen if you are angry in your email. Be nice.

I cant find prices for the new GKs. What are they?

Certainly am - not taken my DG head to rehearsal since I got the Marcus Limited. Just take that and a mini board with a Thumpinator, compressor and a tuner. Very happy. Just not with Boss!
