  1. Cool, makes a change from ice cream Which film had you gone to see ? I'd be interesting to know - they do target the ads to audiences.
  2. Another pointing to the V
  3. Looks like a mod to me - I'm not aware of any stock 3-pickup jazzes
  4. Actually, how about a 'Sausage Fest' pedal - one knob, to control the bias. No footswitch of course...it's an 'always on' kind of effect.
  5. /Stands, applauds/
  6. Yep, I've been round a few basses this week and made with the tweakage. This led me to have a fiiddle with the truss rod on my Tele only to find that it was completely loose ! I've had it for 25 years and obviously never tweaked it. I'm rather surprised at myself, not even having had the neck off in all that time (heel access, Pah !) - everything else must have been in bits three times
  7. Brilliant, it looks like it's from Venus.
  8. I have a Fender one that fits a treat, problem is I think it's this https://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_urban_semi_hollow_b_gig_bag_bk.htm
  9. Singing in the reading room Cutting and/or edged tools in same NO climate control for shelved material Naked flames Book items improperly shelved No obvious control of access to pre-current volumes That video is a library management nightmare....
  10. Have you ever tried to beat a seal to death with a pub ?
  11. Yeah, I've seen that video too
  12. Looks great...lovely job !
  13. I've just started using EXL 170 on all my basses after years of Status strings. Very happy - great sound and lovely feel. Another convert here.
  14. Lovely clean up...nice work that man !
  15. Lovely gut shot....what a beautiful bit of kit (bearded fan excepted )
  16. Nice project - looking forward to see how you get on.
  17. Glad the gig went well, and nice to get a bit of feedback on your sound from another bassist I'd echo what Banjo Hobbit said - the pedal could be ideal.....or not. Might not be too much for a folk band, but for industrial metal it could be fine !
  18. Absolutely.
  19. Exactly what I thought.
  20. Only if the guitarist on the bar hasn't been washed away when the levee wash ruined his crops. Hang on...that's getting a bit blues isn't it ? Stick some yodelling in, that'll sort it.
  21. Fly ? It's a country band....a crippled mare is more the style
  22. I heard the Royal College of Surgeons agreed with you on that count
  23. Verniers - I just don't have the eyesight any more.
  24. Terrible commute.
