  1. Thanks folks - it's gone about 5 times already I'm afraid. Don't worry though, I'll be back similar time next year with another one no doubt 🙂
  2. Dear all, In what is sadly become a tradition of sorts I have this wonderful IE Xerograph available. I believe this is my third, or perhaps my fourth. I buy then sell around this time of year. Black and white finish, 6 knobber in excellent condition. Better photos if required but I'm assuming that you probably know what this is etc etc. I will have to check but I may well still have the IE box, if postage is required the pedal will be well packed in any event. Please let me know if you have any questions. See you back here same time next year when I will no doubt be selling another one.
  3. Just bought another item from Darren, as always the perfect gent and supplier of tip top bass exotica!!
  4. Just completed an overseas sale. Lots of extra issues now post-brexit of course but what I wanted to mention was the inclusion of an Apple AirTag.

For £29 we were able to keep an eye on the progress of the bass as it left the Country, got held at customs (very helpful because the courrier tracking suggested it was being delivered at the time), and then tracking in the destination country all the way to it's new home.

Clearly a few quid extra cost but for a higher value transaction a lot of added piece of mind!!!

I thought that precise tracking wasn't allowed (for terrorism risks).

Oo is that even a thing, that's clever!

  5. Recently sold a bass to Christian. Great guy, excellent communications, reasonable and thoughful throughout. Our deal was complex and changed a bit along the way, never a problem though. We had some customs questions to navigate, again Christian was composed and totally cool whilst we had the short delay. I wouldn't hestitate to deal with Christian again and totally recommend him, credit to the BC community.
  6. Crazy bass and Christian is the man, deal in confidence for this exotic beast!
  7. I have to say of the many weird and wonderful things that you see on basschat this looks quite unique and a whole lot of fun E-C is a strange thing - it's bass but not quite, I really like the fact that this unashamedly pursues the E-C thing without compromise Does it still have decent heft in more traditional bass roles?
  8. I love this and want it badly can you adjust the spacing though? It looks like not but I would have thought it should be possible on such a businesslike item.. ?
  9. Wonderful amp I have many fond memories of these. Not sure I ever really used the overdrive channel on mine, it always sounded awesome though, especially with the ampeg 6x10 This looks to be in ace condition too, great amp for someone Also worth mentioning, whilst it's not a lightweight 'stick it in your gigbag' type amp the extra size and weight is not prohibitive and - imo - well worth it in terms of the sound. Not wanting to start a classD turfwar etc, there just seems to be something that you get from these types of amps that you don't with the lightweight stuff... anyway, glwts before I get myself into trouble
  10. Shuker arrived from charlie today great bass, excellent condition, excellent packing and great coms from start to finish a basschat tour de force, I salute you sir!
  11. Further update - had a couple of enquiries regarding overseas px Never say never but I think the additional taxes plus the difficulties around trying basses first etc put this on the very difficult pile Happy to listen to ideas but on face value this looks challenging
  12. Additional photos now added I've had a few questions about dings and damage, there isn’t really any though. I’ve tried to capture the bass as well as I can in the pics, please shout though if there is anything more specific you need….
  13. Nothing dodgy about any of our deals!!! Correct though, it does take a superlow action. I'd call it medium-low (set up at the Gallery) at the moment but it can be a very fast player should you so desire...
  14. Chaps the steak is hands down the best and most weird dirt machine ever plus once you get your head around the filters it’s surprisingly easy to use live ie not just for studio knob twiddling you won’t be disappointed….
