  1. I think it's totally subjective. In my experience of pedigree vs cheaper instruments there are certainly differences in the quality. Fact, no question. What is that difference worth and how much does it impact what you can do with it, well everyone will have a different view on that and rightly so. I've heard great tone and playing come out of cheaper instruments and mediocre from high end stuff. Ultimately I'd say the main difference is how the instrument feels to you physically and via the tone your hear, the people at the back of the village hall will generally care much less (unless there are any bass spotters in the audience). There is no guarantee you'll get a better experience just by paying more!
  2. What a catchy title! bought this to try the multi scale thing I really like the bass but ultimately the fan frets are not for me https://www.ibanez.com/eu/products/detail/ehb1506ms_1p_01.html bass is essentially brand new, no gigs, I have fitted an extra strap button though to help the balance with a strap sale is possible of course but really looking to trade for a similar 34 scale 6 without the fan frets….
  3. Very nice bass, terrific spec Great price Super seller Change your name to Frank Felix and you’re good to go!
  4. Excellent interface but way in excess of my needs, going back to scarlet! very light use and excellent condition, approx 1 year old https://www.uaudio.com/audio-interfaces/apollo-twin-usb.html
  5. Yeah agreed, I was going to ask re the body wood too are the pus in the 70 position or is this more 60s style? I’m never sure from photos…
  6. My 5 year old son has just been chatting to me and checking out my basses. His observation was that one of them is 'broken and not right'.

    I suspect he is not the first and will not be the last person to conclude this in relation to headless basses.

      @GisserD
      Balance of bass? Bit of extra weight at the end of the neck to stop whatever the opposite of neck dive is?

      @gapirosurely weight at that end is what causes kneck dive?

  7. Nice bass and sorry to hear of your situation fella General question, does the 42 in force42 relate to level 42 in some way?

  10. Boss sy1, great condition, just a little dust which I will include. velcro on it’s undercarriage nice Synth pedal with the typical boss ‘usability’ re form factor etc. I’ve been gigging it and whilst it works really well the sounds are ultimately not for me very nice quick and easy way route to basic synth stuff btw I would recommend using a exp so you can blend and control the synth mix, very useful feature and levels up the options big time
  11. Is this the short, regular or long one? I'm guessing one of the first two if it’s not long enough for you….? cheers abd
  12. Nice compressor that sounds very much like @lee650 too glwts
  13. Thanks folks - it's gone about 5 times already I'm afraid. Don't worry though, I'll be back similar time next year with another one no doubt 🙂
  14. Dear all, In what is sadly become a tradition of sorts I have this wonderful IE Xerograph available. I believe this is my third, or perhaps my fourth. I buy then sell around this time of year. Black and white finish, 6 knobber in excellent condition. Better photos if required but I'm assuming that you probably know what this is etc etc. I will have to check but I may well still have the IE box, if postage is required the pedal will be well packed in any event. Please let me know if you have any questions. See you back here same time next year when I will no doubt be selling another one.
  15. Just bought another item from Darren, as always the perfect gent and supplier of tip top bass exotica!!
