  1. yeah - these are totally cool - I'm really glad you've been sensible and kept it matey! there is a lot to be said for having the comfort of power to spare!!
  2. you totally beat me to this dude! although I’m sure you could use it for other porpoises 🐬 too… great looking bass for sure, glwts
  3. A thing of beauty. I’m bummed, can’t afford it..

  5. Man - that's a really nice recording and the bass sounds superb Would be wasted on me - veritable pearls before swine - but someone will grab a cracker here
  6. would love to try one of these - killer 70s J are Jerry's chops included or do you have to acquire these separately?
  7. I must confess to being really intrigued by the fly design and parker guitars generally. Surely though the obvious question: Isn't carbonite the same stuff than Han Solo was imprisoned in at the end of Empire Strikes Back? I had no idea you could make basses from that stuff too!
  8. Wonderful instrument. A very high quality 5 string Jazz combined with extensive midi control capabilities. Link to the IR site: https://industrialradio.com.au/ Youtube example (of this bass): The bass is in excellent condition and comes with all of the necessary midi accessories. Details as per the previous listing: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/462441-sold-industrial-radio-midi-bass-5-stringtrades-added/#comment-4703457 Is it the midi Holy Grail for bass players? Well I think it's probably as good as it get's right now. To be clear, no pitch to midi, all note and control info is generated through the individual fretting of notes against the fretboard combined with the string vibration in the bridge unit. Output can be configured in many different ways. You need to play clean enough so as not to create confusion but it's really not difficult to do this in my experience at least. There is really nothing not to like here in terms of the bass as a midi controller. I have simply come to the conclusion that I prefer keys for midi duties and whilst the bass is an excellent 'bass only' (I must confess I was pleasantly surprised how good it is in that regard) it's not my go-to choice of instrument. Happy to sell but also very happy to look at trades or p/x for other basses. Bass is in Norwich, Norfolk for those of you that want to check it out. UK and International shipping is possible but not included in the price. Much love x
  9. These are pretty awesome for sure!
  10. Ok so you know how it feels when you have a good clear out but you still feel like you're not 100% done yet? That's where we're at: OC5/Expressionator/Boba Fuzz/Wetteretter Box all gone The others remain. I'm not going to keep bumping the thread indefinitely so quick discount now and if they don't go they can keep me company: Freeze - £50 SOLD Autodialer - £80 Nova - £40 (barg) Expline - a bit of an odd one - I was looking for the box, found it, but also found a box for it's sister pedal the Leveline (volume pedal), so asking £40 for BOTH - head-exploding-barginessessness SOLD Like I said, last bump Much love X
  11. is it wrong that at this price I'm tempted to put it in my rack and just feed it with a dummy signal to watch the meeting lights?

  13. Have been sorting through and tidying many things. You know how it goes. I'm very fond of these and have gotten some great use in recent years. I very much doubt I will use them going forward though so up for grabs: Noisemakers: Boss OC5, 100 - you know it, you want it. Pretty much as new and nearly as good as the OC2 SOLD TC Nova Repeater, 50 - my got-to delay for ages and ages, sounds great and beautifully put together, simply superceded or would be a total keeper Boba Fuzz, 30 - fuzz thing, nuff said SOLD EHX Freeze, 75 - FREEZE PUNK! nice and simple sound hold pedal - surprisingly useful SOLD Utilities: Gigrig Wetterbox, 150 - currently unavailable, excellent dual loop with blend/mix facility, controllable with footswitch or exp SOLD Mooer Expline mini expression pedal, 30 - lovely and solid, compact, requires 9v power and doesn't play nicely with about 5% of my stuff, not sure why SOLD Mission Expressionator, 100 - been on my boards for 15 years, great way to expand exp control without multiple pedals, adjustable ramp and memories make it superflexible, difficult to get hold of SOLD Co-pilot autodialer, 100 - envelop generator or exp augmentor - great way to send envelop based exp signals to pedals based on your playing dynamics, or use it to adjust the response of a standard exp input Other than the OC5 and the Expline I don't think I have any of the original boxes. All will be well packed though, don't you worry about that. All prices include regular RM UK postage. Overseas or any special service might be extra. Any questions let me know!
  14. wonderful head - fond memories of mine and it's got to be said - these are not 250 regular watts, they are tracewatts which are at least 5 times as powerful as regular watts don't argue with me please, I am a scientist
  15. I like that you've got your own thing going on there matey. FWIW I think you're right in that the JCR clear has a lot more 'stuff' going on - the cazpar will not be that bass even if you change out electrics etc. Different scale and materials like you say. My experience of custom build is that it's great in theory but you don't necessarily get exactly what you need at the end of it. Very difficult to translate your feelings and inner thoughts into a clear spec that delivers the outcomes you want. This said there are great builders out there who will no doubt do a fantastic job. Alan or Martin at Sei, John Shuker etc. I guess it starts to get really hard to find used basses to try once you go below 33 (and that's hard enough to find to begin with). If you love the JCR perhaps you need to work with it. I'm guessing the challenge is the voicings but let's face it, depending on how ambitious you wanna get there will always be challenging voicings even at 30 scale!! Good luck with your quest!
