  2. yo-you do know theres two versions of the rumble 40 don't you? if you can pickup the 40 modelling model-its a cracker ! and fun to use too boot.....
  3. That's very kind of you sir! I appreciate it. I know that's there's another new bass player out there that needs it more. Thanks for thinking of me
  4. Aah, good choice. Reason I asked is I have a new Rumble 40 here in Dallas which I was going to offer for free. I bought it when I moved into an apartment here but then decided (for the sake of my neighbours) that a headphone setup would be kinder for all involved! Glad you’re sorted.
  5. Not exactly lol. I found a used hartke rig and jumped on it. It's sounds super sweet!
  6. Did you get sorted with the Rumble 40?

  8. Here's Event Horizon, where I aimed for a 70s Krautrock feel. It is is about looking into, and being pulled over the Event Horizon of a black hole which might actually be a wormhole into a parallel universe.

  10. Sky Arts has disappeared (again) from my Freeview channels. No channel 36 listed. Tried retuning a few times but to no avail. Anyone else got the same problem? (Or a solution). I'm really missing it. It's my most watched channel by far.

  12. The thing about Eurovision nowadays is it's become too self-conscious. Put simply, it's not quite good enough to be good, but it's not quite bad enough to be entertaining either. Eurovision used to be captivating because of it's unintentional quirkiness. Now that it's contrived to be that way it's lost that unique charm it once had. I
  13. Nostalgia for Stock Aitken and Waterman. I never thought I would see the day.
  14. Waiting for me to find £1200 down the back of my couch

  16. I think it's called the Kiesel JB5 now, with 70s pickup spacing. The original Carvin was 60s pickup spacing (I believe)... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MDJfA-uSe4&t=63s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puB1ShoQd20
  17. Significant step up, sound quality is much better, tuner on the device and there is an octaver (2 even) Clean sound is great. Fx’s are good enough for when I practice and as above there are octavers. I won’t have to break out any of my pedals for practice now.
  18. I have four sets of short-scale (30" scale, 760mm) roundwounds, bought second-hand a decade ago when I had something which probably fitted them - I never got round to it. The Rotosounds, the La Bellas and the Newtones appear to be stainless steel. The Optima Golds are, um, gold? I don't know what the actual metal is. They've all been opened; the Rotosounds and the Newtones have never been fitted; the La Bellas have been partly fitted (2 never fitted); the Optima Golds are cut 2+2 and there is some wear to the silks. I have little idea how to price these so my preference is to sell them as a job lot. £75 for the lot, posted, within the UK (outside the UK, let me know but probably there would be tariffs). PayPal without charges (preferred), or bank transfer.
  19. Continuing to thin the surplus pedals. This is the Ebs OctaBass Octave pedal. Boxed inc instructions and excellent condition (does have velcro underneath for the pedal board). Looking for £90 that includes delivery (U.K mainland only) or £85 collected. Heres my feedback page if you fancy seeing my past purchase/selling history https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/168931-feedback-for-chrisasp/?tab=comments#comment-1550553
  20. I tried many, many B string gauges in my MG Quantum 5, but .120 (GHS SS RW) was hands down the best sounding one.
  21. Load the ms50g firmware in but with the bass effects and have up to 6 effects at once? (DSP permitting)
  22. This is one of the best rotary speaker simulators on the market. It’s a cut down version of the bigger version, but still does the job. Two user presets, very configurable and you can turn off the Speaker sim part so it works better with guitar. Its like a BDDI for Organs, but my guitarist has used it a few times on his guitar and it really brings it to life. I got this from Andertons last year, and I’ll throw in a second (3rd party) PSU. https://neo-instruments.com/mini-vent-2/ Looking for £210 ovno, and willing to post to UK for an extra £10 for DHL overnight. Comes with the box and all paperwork. As you can see it’s in very good condition.
  23. I had this as a gift a few weeks ago, and I used it once for a gig. It worked flawlessly, but I'm not really a wireless guy, so don't see me using it much in the future. It is very cool pedal format, and can switch between regular wireless and tuner and also be configured to boost when the footswitch is pressed. The tiny transmitter has tons of battery power and only went down a couple notches during a two hour gig. It recharges on the pedal itself. Very sturdily built and in as-new condition with the box and all original pieces. See here for specs: https://www.nuxaudio.com/b8.html Price includes shipping anywhere in the UK.
