The show must go on! Whatever it takes. You got the job done. Oh to be 20 and fighting fit again π
-
Great video. I streamed it to the tv + surround and it sounded really good. You're so cool you're glacial π

Chaosanator started following Rickenbacker 4003SW - 2015 - trades considered

I've just got in after Gary Numan's warmup show in Frome. That was a spectacular show. He's definitely more industrial rock than synth pop these days. Great night.

So a festival that's been going since 1970 has always been crap and has never had any music you might have liked. Fair enough π€·π»ββοΈ

As Tolstoy contended in Anna Karenina, failure is much more interesting than success. I enjoy the bad acts far more than the competent ones. I've got a big TV, surround sound and I haven't flushed the toilet since lunchtime. It's the just like being there, but much cheaper.

Just caught up on English Teacher, Wet Leg, Supergrass, Blossoms - all fabulous and thoroughly enjoyed them. Are The 1975 just a bit overhyped and whiny though? Each to their own I guess π

Just got around to watching this - Jesus they're good!! Frankly there's just too much talent in that band.

Iβm glad youβre enjoying it. Each to their own.

Yea, but Chris Squire and many others did! Both can be great - whatever works for you...

It's always been a load of crap, the current year is no exception.
-
There's been some good acts on today - Supergrass, Franz Ferdinand, Alanis Morisette, Biffy Clyro and now 1975 and Fratellis. I get it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but they are mine, and these are all bands/artists that are either currently popular or have been at some point in the past 30 years.

As much as I want to enjoy and respect music, most of these Glasto performances have been dire. To the point where it almost feels like a giant windup. Listening to the intro glowing BBC intro then being confronted by the performances is a curious test of sanity, and gullibility. Hope others are enjoying it more than me!

Boodang started following Tinnitus!!!!!!!

For everyday noisy environments like a pub, I use Loops on a low attenuation (this helps to understand speech). Loops on higher attenuation for when playing acoustic drums with standard monitoring and when it's IEMs I use with a limiting preamp to stop high levels. For sleeping I find the Bose sleep buds help distract my tinnitus. In fact I use them regularly when travelling rather than noise cancelling headphones.
