  2. It's an original feature, but it's not systematic as you can have notched on the treble side, notched on bass side, notched on both sides, and not notched at all tuners. Furthermore, these types of tuners can be mixed. The interesting thing is that, thanks to these notched tuners, you can narrow the dating to the pre-CBS era, if they are squared notched tuners.
  3. Rip It Up - Orange Juice
  4. And 'The Pin Drop' from the same Steven Wilson album. Nick Beggs again, in case you didn't know. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/the-pin-drop-steven-wilson/
  5. Tears Of A Clown - Iron Maiden
  6. One popped up early last year on Gumtree in the amber finish,it was basically mint.£500. I contacted the guy and hesitated until...it sold!!! Less than a week later it resurfaced in Bass Direct on commission sale for almost double the price. I was in there while they had it and when I tried it that's when I REALLY wanted to kick myself. It was stellar in just about every way. I always thought they were the full 34" though? I know the 90s TRB5P was through neck and 33 7/8" scale. You don't mean that one do you?
  7. 2m 30s shows lower gain settings Listening to it, isn’t helping me with wanting to sell it 🙄 was fine in box not looking at me.

It’s Dood- he the kind of guy who doesn’t queue to get in a club…
  9. He’ll have lent on his fame and skipped the line the rest of us peasants are in.
  10. Cry Me a River - Julie London
  11. Did you find one in stock somewhere? Everywhere I have seen has a 3-4 month wait list now
  12. Never a truer word written.
  13. I saw one a while ago for £1300 on ebay! Was tempted to sell mine, but then I realised just how good it sounded in my punkyfunky band...
  14. Given the lack of functional difference between the two I’d go with the Halon, as he’s replied
  15. The philippe dubrieulle jazz bass I once played and missed out on. It was for sale in Wunjos maybe 15-20 years ago and never to be seen again. I check online occasionally just to see if it’s resurfaced but no such luck.
  16. The Albridge is about as good a bridge as you can find for Musicmasters, but yeah AmpShop can be tricky with shipping. If I ordered from them again, I’d pay a little extra and ask for FedEx shipping, they normally use USPS which is a diabolically unreliable service. It’s worth emailing them first.
  17. Mosrite. Rickenbacker 4005.
  18. Nux mighty air with receiver, in good condition with some light marks. Great practice tool and great for playing along to tunes. 10w.
  19. Good luck
  20. Going under the knife in a couple of weeks for wrist decompression surgery so this won't be getting played anytime soon. I'm dropping the price to £795 as it's too nice to be hanging on the wall gathering dust. This is a very playable, comfortable and great sounding bass, grab yourself a bargain!!
  21. They were the House PA and they did sound great. We use RCF's as our PA and they have also been fantastic
  22. Roscoe Beck V in Candy Apple Red. (Maybe they only made two or something?) ☹️
  23. I'm very happy with the one I bought off here last week. It feels slightly heavier than my Mustang but haven’t weighed to check. Also the bass sits naturally at a more horizontal position when I’m standing. Neither feature is a problem, though, that’s just observation. I’m not a ‘tinkerer’ and don’t change anything on an instrument unless repairs are needed. Have you changed anything, or kept it stock?
  24. Today
  25. That’s very kind of you! I’m not a million miles away from Hereford but too far to justify it though I’m afraid. (Telford, Shropshire)
  26. Sorry if this sounds too obvious, but does the battery need replacing?
  27. 2kW in reality heats my lounge. That's reality. Nobody needs a real 2kW. My real 250W amp with 4 ohm of cabs keeps up with enthusiastic drummers no problem.
