Agreed on all counts - I paid [used] over £900 for my Aubergine one, and yes, they are excellent basses. There's something about the American Performer. I've got the Competition Burgundy Vintera II as well and nice bass though it is, the Am.Perf is genuinely a step above in both playability and quality. Definitely one of my go-to basses. For sale is my ’89 Music Man Stingray. It’s a rare light one, weighing in at a bit less than 3,9kg. The body is finished in the classic honeyburst, and the lacquered neck has some nice birdseye figuring. As you can see, the bass has a lot of usermarks/damages (especially on the back), but technically all is good. The neck is straight and the truss rod works well. The frets show some wear, but it doesn’t affect playability. All hardware and electronics function like they should, the pots could be a bit scratchy though. No case or bag included, but will be packed well if shipping is necessary. Asking €2350 Tradewise I am looking for a good Rickenbacker 4001, Fender strat or offset guitar (vintage specd), a light player grade pre-cbs Jazz Bass or precision (with added gear from my side).

Hey peeps. Moving on my Melvin Lee Davis preamp,DI &ir loader with data cable to install software as well as power cable. I bought this to use as a silent practice setup. Never left the house, or gigged. It’s like new tbh. I’m including the data cable you need to install the software. Great sounding preamp. It has a low and high pass filter which is accessible on the software and sets once you disconnect. Software has drum beats and a loop! You can also use this as an audio interface. Extremely capable tool. I’m moving to the mighty plug pro2. Asking for £100+shipping. I think this is fair considering the cable and power lead. There really were some heavy beasts in this period, I had a ‘76 jazz that I struggled to lift. That said, it sounded amazing. This looks like a fabulous example and an absolute rock bottom price IMO. Good luck – at this price, the bass really shouldn’t hang around!
