  1. Past hour
  2. Very cool, congrats, I don’t really know much about mustangs, could it have been Olympic white looking at the neck pocket and under the neck plate but there’s no paint stick mark so not sure
  3. Hi Steve. Yes my family journeyed to Cornwall 5 years ago and indeed the beaches are lovely. It seems the days of haggling on the price of used gear in larger stores is now in the past. PMT(RIP) used to be generous in that regard as was Guitar Guitar. I found the 735a pretty capable and well put-together from my limited experience of noodling in shops including the Wardour Street main store but I prefer the looks of the previous 425/1025. The latter however as I'm sure you know features not a pickup blend knob but a 3-way toggle switch which may matter to some. I'm actually relieved the AFR5 has gone to be honest as I can now stop staring at a bass I never needed in the first place 😂 Take care mate...
  4. Can you comment on the neck profile? Is it like the earlier, thinner necks or the more chunky D shape? String spacing still 16.5mm?
  5. I think they were sold in both 4 and 12 options, with the kit being available in case at a later date a change was wanted, be it to add in more cabs (4 to 12) or downsizing so get max power to one cab (12 to 4).
  6. WOW. You never see these early TRBp,s with a quilted top ever especially in this condition. Really rare bass.
  7. That looks lovely, Kincknack! Competition burgundy is currently in production on the Vintera II 70's Competition Mustang - as you can see from the covered portions of your bass, when it ages it turns purple. It starts off as a teal blue, but with a slight burst from a subtle purple around the outer edges of the body. You can see it on mine from the second in-case picture in artificial light.
  8. Another day another gig, thank goodness. I do love it With my duo; guitar/vox, bass/vox and programmed drums. PA is two RCF 310's and floor monitors also two RCF 310's. Last night's lesson was just how awkward room resonances can be. The space was a social club in Wincanton which was an old chapel, Really nice open space with decent ceiling height and good proportions but our space was in what was an opened out side room around 3m high 4m wide and maybe 8m deep and a real bass trap. No eq needed for the FOH which sounded like it always does but the bass on the monitors was really overpowering. I kept edging it down, upped the HPF from 40hz to 50hz and ended up turning the bass down 16db in the mix. Given that the bass eq on the monitor is already shelved by 9db below 90 Hz. I think 16db just to compensate for the room resonance is remarkable. I should have cut by more and boosted the mids on the bass maybe but that's hard to do mid gig. Of course in-ears would have meant no problem and FOH was unaffected. I have to confess that I find singing easier with floor monitors
  9. So is 4 the default Lozz? And what would the advantage be of a 12 - you could hook up more speakers to your amp?

  11. Maybe usable with other similar guitars? Unused so in mint condition. Postage possible…
  12. Have no idea.🤷🏽‍♂️ Not really prepared to mess with anything. A quick clean sale is preferable….
  13. Shame that this is still here…. Took it out on a gig on Sat and it was as expected…..special!👌🏽 Waiting on a luck owner🤞🏽
  14. Cheers - I’ve been looking around and some have gone for a lot more, so hope the pricing is fair / good.
  15. Not the page reference, just the image link, like this
  16. Hi bud I'll take the top one in the pictures please. How much for postage to Liverpool L19 0NP postcode? Cheers Craig.
  17. If I recall correctly Barefaced used to sell a wiring kit for the early ones so the buyer could choose which option.
  18. Shine A Light - Rolling Stones
  19. As a potential buyer I'd certainly like to know more about the necks 😆
  20. I just need to say a massive thank you to all involved. Ive been speaking with Lee daily for about 10 years (maybe more?) but when my In-Laws bought a static caravan in Morcambe, we got really close as I was up there 5/6 times a year. I facilitated his 50th birthday present and I went to his party at his house. I often recommend Lee to @walshyfor bass demos - he’s a phenomenal player, even on his “bad” days he leaves me in the dust. He’s a humble soul - but he makes me piss my sides like no other. I dont think he’ll ever understand how important he is to me. love you @lee650
  21. Yes fair enough.
