..them EQ knobs on the bass can be quite helpful for things like this - or just get a GEB-7 or similar to tread on when you switch between the two?

I thought it was an excellent example of really professional playing, managing a lot of things going on at once in a format that was both rehearsed but also flexible in terms of where the music was going at any point. All in front of a lot of people and being streamed/recorded. I also believe she is only in her early twenties so her grasp of both the music and technology is impressive. I play with some pretty good musicians and while granted we seldom rehearse, we don't get close to the complexity of the arrangements shown in the videos.

Reading the manual the control design for this does look pretty genius cramming a helluva lot of control into a six knob pedal. At the same time personally I'd probably rather just plug my phone into my C4 and have a visual of the settings. I can see that it would appeal to lots of people who find that idea off-putting and want something you can program without another device.

The bass gallery have a wall full of fender basses. You’d easily find one there that suits you, and hopefully in your budget.

it's a great thing to be able to play with thumb, fingers and plectrum I use an EQ pedal live sometimes or Compression / Limiting - it's set for what technique I use the least - stomp on

Stingray sounds gorgeous with Cobalts. And so does P-bass.

Request time! Can you do play by magazine? I'd come! -
Thanks mate. I've ordered a set (45-105) and will see how they sound. Guess it also depends which bass I put them on! Thinking P Bass or Stingray.

It looks really fun, but the sound demos I've heard don't appeal; it's too cutting or shrill for my tastes.
-
Have you experimented with where on the string you pluck or pick - as in, down near the bridge, right up over the fretboard, or somewhere in between? That can make a huge difference in tone.

I played the Monaco at the last SE Bash which was now some time ago. It was really good as I used the TE1200 and @Merton ACG. I hope this doesn't constitute a thread derail, but I'm curious about a few things. Are there any bigger cabs in the works? Like a 2x12? Also, as the crossover point seems to be very low and in the 1.5kHz region, how does one mic the cab to record it? All the snap and attack will be from the horn. Just curious really.
