  2. Just stick a bit of cardboard in there, but make sure it's tone-cardboard.
  3. Ander sold me a Yamaha THR30 amp. Absolutely perfect all round. Cheers! Tom
  4. I've got of these too. Neck dive for sure with any almost all T-Bird inspired shapes, but I moved the strap button to neck heel and it's about 75% better. I've also been tinkering with it, rewired pickups to single coil (lower neck coil and upper bridge coil) and it's much more J bass now.
  5. NOW REDUCED TO £120!!! Legendary octave pedal in highly desirable relic’d finish 😉. Works fine, just looks knackered, much like myself. Born in Japan, May 1985 (the pedal, not me). Free UK postage. Cheers! Sam.

  6. I've just gone back to Schallers on my Spectors; all with 4" padded leather straps. At <4kg each they are super comfy. The new type Schaller with the hex drive screws and locking security rings are 1000× more secure than rubber washers and there is less chance of smacking your bass on something when removing them too (don't ask). On my Yams and Valenti I have the D'Addario clips, again, much better then the rubber washers. These live at home mostly so the straps are permanently on. With the Spectors, because of the placement of the strap buttons, the straps stay on when they're in transit in the Mono gig bag. I had a Dunlop strap lock disintegrate on me at a wedding gig sound check in 2009. I gaffer taped it for the gig and haven't gone near those
  7. If I Could Turn Back Time - Cher
  8. It seems the seller and BD disagree on the originality of the body and as far as I know there’s no way to definitively date one, especially refinished? It wouldn’t surprise me if BD might be being vague on purpose to protect themselves.
  9. I have a couple of M5s on pedalboards. I did look into an M9 for my guitar pedalboard, tried it and discovered it smothered the dynamics a little too much for my liking so sent it back. There was a guy offering upgrades to the M9 but he hasn't responded to messages or emails for quite a few years. But the mods basically made the M9 a studio quality effect.
  10. How about the Mooer Expline? plenty of other do mini expression pedals too, check out Hotone, sonicake, Dod, valeton
  11. To have a back-up cab?? 😅😂 No one has even tried the cab out yet. I’m amazed. I’ve advertised it at £400 now.

  13. Well done guys , it was difficult to pick a winner out of those! I’ll do the certificates later , in very small print , but we need to choose a photo. I reckon the first one of you to acknowledge your fine victory on this thread can send me a picture, and I’ll put it up this evening.
  14. We've all been there mate, there have been times when I foolishly stop checking in for a few days to find that my entire wish list of gear has been listed and sold! Yes, the brown ash body is really a work of art, classic Warmoth. There are still some pretty special necks and bodies available though..........
  15. Putting up my natural gloss Spector CST5 . I’ve got two of these wonderful basses and one of them isn’t getting enough playing time .Bought in October 2024 from Bassdirect it’s had minimal use and is in fantastic condition. It’s a stock bass so comes with EMGX pickups in a PJ configuration with Darkglass legacy preamp . Also a Spector gigbag is included. Would consider a trade . MTD , Status or similar 5 strings. No fanned fret as I already have a Dimension 5

  18. I can arrange this. Please let me know where are you located.
  19. Yeah I plan on using an expression pedal. You can control pretty much any parameter as I understand it.

Dunlop do a mini expression pedal but I’m not sure you’d get the same sweet silver finish.

  25. I didn't think anyone would notice the "Hard Days Night" reference. Lol Daryl
  26. I think they’re the same, Cioks do one and then there is the light grey Eventide branded model. I have 2 Cioks 4’s, I tend to power them with usb c and then power the second off one of the outs on the first but you can power it with literally any old adaptor you have lying around.
