  1. Past hour
  2. Does your switch have two TS cables or one TRS? One of the dual switches might still work if it is TRS.
  3. Is it only that tap tempo switch that works for the mxr bass synth or can I use like a moaly dual foot switch?
  4. I saw a 1960s Rapier for £700 in a Manchester music shop. Was lovely to look at and play. I nearly dropped the cash.
  5. Just wanna say most of my C4 presets, I got from you!
  6. A new player on here, this is the Felix Pastorius bass line for the Bob Mintzer tune, 'I Knew His Father' from the 2013 Yellowjackets album, 'A Rise In The Road'. Shades of Weather Report. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/i-knew-his-father-yellowjackets/
  7. Took my new AD200 to rehearsal to make sure it’s all good after a full re-valve. Sounded huge! Was only using the bottom cab.
  8. Well it is in stock now, so I'm just waiting for them to get around to where I am in the backlog. If they ever do.
  9. I'd not order anything that's not currently in stock without getting written confirmation that it's definitely coming in.
  10. It's my first time with a digital multi effects processor. Are there presets of Cass effects? Of pedals or full songs? Thanks
  11. Turning … Turning Back - Alex de Grassi
  12. We could do a swap and compare our pedals - I have one P&C PCB left I wanted to build anyway at some point
  13. Which metal..?
  14. I think when I finally get my hands on one, I’ll have to dial up the same presets on the FI4 and post a comparison.
  15. Got mine. The 1st 4 pre sets are worth the £300 on their own. Really easy to use with tap switch to change presets . I’ve been waiting since the 80s for these sounds. TE told me it couldn’t be done! Well done MXR !
  16. Happy to share a bill with you - there's only 2-3 duplicates on your set list vs. ours
  17. This design is based on the Watkins Rapier that came out in the late '60s. My first bass was a pale blue one (also available in red) and I'd be all over one of these if the bridge wasn't so far from the bottom edge of the body. It just adds to the weight and negates the 'easy reach to the lower frets' benefit that many s-s basses offer. Even so, I'd still have a test run if I could find one locally.
  18. On the mend. thanks for good wishes.
  19. Knowing what a PITA arthritis is I'm glad I helped!
  20. It's kind of 'ancient and modern'. Looks fantastic GLWTS
  21. Jings that sounds scary. Hope you're now ok. Keep us posted. Dave
  22. Cheers Pete. There is some damage as a result of scarring but I’ve adapted my playing a little and feel confident again on long scales. I’ll keep my old faithful Rick shortscale 3000 and my Hofner but I have no real use for the ‘baby versions’ of my main basses now.
  23. Yeah I’ve actually printed out on Dymo tape an instruction to check that if no output, and stuck it on the amp panel near the controls.
  24. Blimey, Stub - hope you're back in action soon, old chap.
  25. If you put the RM heads into their little woolly gig bag, that switch inevitably gets pressed. I love my RM800, but that's a definite design flaw!
