  2. Don't worry, neepheid automatically stamps on anyone daring to query the experience of shopping with guitarguitar, it's like a quirk of the forum software
  3. This nonsense and lack of respect for others work is one of the multiple reasons I have chosen another streaming platform instead of Spotify.
  4. According to Wikipedia: Ek has studied in Sweden, where education is practically free (funded via taxation). He has raised $2.5 billion via venture funding, i.e. he is creating his nonsense content with other people's money. And his own input seems to be under zero.
  5. If you shot the video on a new iPhone then it defaults to a stupidly high resolution and 60fps frame rate. I think there is a settings change up in the top right where you can change the rate. Android will depend on the phone, but Samsung has an option under Advanced settings to use HEVC, which should reduce the size.
  6. Where have I done that, if you mean I said getting a shite deal then those in my experience are facts. I found staff at PMT and Guitar Guitar great but I've always been offered a crap deal if trying to p ex anything. People on here have slagged off BD they are entitled to if that's how they felt, I'm doing the same, it's called free speech.
  7. I wonder, given his company's increasing penchant for injecting AI generated "content" into playlists, if that is what he is referring to, rather than five lads in a recording studio laying it down on tape, maaaan, or the youtuber types with their army of editors and the like, and this is just hysterical offence being taken by those who despise how his company has contributed to making music almost worthless (myself included)? I read his original comment as making much more sense when applied to the likes of Tiktok or AI stuff than a Tool album.
  8. Can anybody recommend a gig bag or soft case for my Reidmar? Dimensions (WxDxH) 36.3 x 26.2 x 7.6 cm (14.3 x 10.3 x 3.0") Something with good sized pockets would be nice. Thanks.
  9. I would go: Compressor -> Octaver -> Chorus -> Mooer Reverb -> Zoom ambient effects -> SLO Reverb -> Sansamp Preamp Octavers usually benefits from having a compressor before them, and reverb doesn't sound good with compressor after it, but I do like the sound of reverb into delay, which you would normally do the other way, produce a bit more washed out bigger sound. Depending on how exactly you use the Zoom and the SLO one could argue they'd swap spot as well, and one could also argue one of them going after the preamp instead of before. In the end it all depends on how exactly you use these pedals and what kind of sound exactly you are going for, there are no rules set in stone of how to order pedals, in the right context pretty much any order goes. But given I get the impression that you do a lot of ambient stuff I would recommend the first above order I stated.
  10. I suppose he is right though, if the purpose is just to make any content for the sake of content, but inset the word "quality" in front of "content", and the statement becomes absolutely absurd. Nothing new about shit costing next to nothing to produce though, unless of course it is expensive shit.
  11. Is this one producing pink noise? Coat...
  12. Envelope loves full frequency response. Mine didn't work so well in the X-over loop. Now I keep it as the first unit in chain. Maybe you could try it after a comp where you can control the amount of signal the envelope receives? Octaver on the other hand does not like a signal that is changing a lot. And fuzz, some of them behave in a different way from bass to bass, and whether they are the first in line (crunching bass' signal) or after some other fx (eating lo-Z signal). Your question is the same that I have tried to tame for some time. My solution has been that envelope is the first, fuzz the second in a X-over loop (flanger, too), and then the rest. Octaver (or SY-1) has been travelling here and there. I can only suggest brave trials to find what works best for your setup and preferred sound.
  13. I have a good one that you're welcome to loan Mac. I'm in Cardiff though so I don't know how helpful that is to you.
  14. It'd be fair to refer to me as one of Premier Inn's Kent bassists if the gig is too far from home 😁
  15. Today
  16. I really really like this. Seafoam and ex-RHT... If I can shift a couple of basses I'll check back in.

  18. Hey there! Very interesting bass! What is the nut width of this bass?
  19. NS Wav Radius 4, I bought this recently here and have probably picked it up 5 or 6 times, Ive put it back up as I’m looking for a stingray as a trade + cash, preferably 2eq natural or sunburst and something must go (I’ve shamelessly used the original pics, thanks daz, hope it’s ok), anyway it’s as new and unique. It’s advertised for straight sale at what I paid for it (which is a bargain) but I’d like 600 as a trade value. can travel a bit
  20. I haven't been on here in ages....and now I see this. Sorely tempted but Edinburgh is a bit of a schlep from Sevenoaks....
  21. i think this is where he reveals his plans: ”This has sparked my curiosity about the concept of long shelf life versus short shelf life” “This makes me wonder: what are the most unintuitive, yet enduring ideas that aren’t frequently discussed today but might have a long shelf life? Also, what are we creating now that will still be valued and discussed hundreds or thousands of years from today?”
  22. I've owned two everson basses and they are utterly sublime instruments. The craftsmanship and woods are incredible. The only reason I didn't keep the two I owned is because I'm a lanky twit with long monkey arms and they didn't sit right on me. glwts!
