  2. Dig it - Windmill Guitars in Bangor used to sell the guitars, so if they come up there, I'd recommend them. I bought a Peerless there and the owner added me on Facebook, in order to put a t-shirt in my size in the case. Really nice family run shop. Kithara have sold a few charity pieces with them too.
  3. The Chant Has Begun - Level 42
  4. ^ There's one in the classifieds now at a bargain price
  5. The Growing Importance of Money Counting Machines in Bangladesh

Handling cash is still a major part of day-to-day transactions in Bangladesh, especially in retail stores, banks, NGOs, and wholesale businesses. As financial operations scale up, accuracy, efficiency, and speed become critical. That’s where money counting machines come into play. If you’re considering purchasing one, it's useful to understand more about their features and explore the money counting machine price in Bangladesh to find the best option suited to your business needs.

  6. Dunc bought a TC head from me. Great communication and fast payment, everything you’d want from a buyer! Thanks again and I hope you have fun with it!
  7. Agreed. This is a lucky steal for somebody! Bargain.
  8. Pulse II is a great entry to Spectorland and THAT tone, especially if you upgrade the preamp. If you can afford it and don't mind a slightly thicker neck then a Euro 4LX will get you there straight away. 👍
  9. How do you avoid bleed from the PA into the mics, is it just careful positioning?
  10. I should have followed up with a post back then as they told me it was the same IcePower 700AS module too.
  11. So I'm assuming Pete doesn't want this, it's available if anyone else does, or it'll stay here I suspect
  12. I agree with all of that mybass. I used it for a few rehearsals last winter with a very loud drummer in a project that didn't work out and the power of what I thought was a fairly light little rig meant I had to keep turning it down I don't envisage needing it for the next year or two though.
  13. I'm sure none of us are keen on encouraging child labour exploitation. But you disrespect so many nations and their hard working citizens by making such generalisations. Where exactly are "these places" in the "Far East" you refer to where children are working 7 days a week for 12 hours a day, making high tech bass PA equipment that we consume here in the West? Which Western bass equipment manufacturers are you aware of who are importing such kit without looking at the working conditions of the factories making the products they import? It would be good to know - I'm sure we would all benefit from the research you have done on this.
  14. I so like 5 strings now that I tend not to look at the ads for 4 stringers. In fact I'm toying with the idea of trying to replace some of the herd with 5 string versions. First on the list for that would be the Ric 4003. My browsing history has a few 4003s/5 in it, especially in walnut... 🤪
  15. Today
  16. Beautiful bass...and those of us that either own or have owned one of these know how versatile these are... Seriously underpriced IMO...a couple of years ago they were selling for £6-700....somebody is getting the bargain of the year... GLWTS
  17. I guess it's what you're used to. The drummer in my 3-piece covers band likes to have it, but I insist he brings the gear himself and he sets it up. Similarly, the lead singer in my 5-piece soul band sometimes wants it (depends on the venue). Apart from that, never. It's not that I don't have decent floor monitors available (2 x QSC CP8, 1 x QSC CP10) but life's too short unless they're really necessary.
  18. Great bass, rumoured to have been built for Status Jr or some such Bloody hell 16 years ago!! Hope you’re well mate. YNWA
  19. I can't imagine not having it.
  20. Why say you're sorry? Please stop clutching your pearls and open your eyes. Perhaps you are uncomfortable about the fact that we in the prosperous West enjoy cheap manufactured goods thanks to the fact that many people (who are often very young) in low wage economies work long hours for little pay, often in unregulated workplaces that boast few safety precautions or protection for workers. There's nothing bigoted (note single 't') about pointing that out. I put my money where my mouth is and try not to buy things that are made in such places. It may cost me more, but the consolation is that I'm not enabling exploitation or helping to fund the export of jobs to low wage economies. No doubt you'll tell me I'm fortunate to be able to afford my scruples.
  21. The COG pedal looks very involved! What does it do?
  22. Thank you for setting me on my way with it! I hope all’s good for you.
  23. A cracking rig, the twelves work really well and the amp will match it very well, I've never gone past the 12 o'clock output with my almost same all Markbass setup.
  24. A very quick no fuss deal on a Gotoh bridge. Many thanks Steve!

    Darkglass Anagram

Just to try and answer a few points in the thread. MIDI is not that useful on anagram at the moment. You can change banks but that’s about it so at the moment you have to use the 3 switches for scenes or stomps which is limiting. They also mentioned MIDI is not the first firmware update coming so we may still be in for a bit of a wait for proper midi functionality. ( I’ve got the Darkglass midi controller so hopefully that is easy to set up when the time comes). the SVT thing, which I think I mentioned, is clean but I think I’m confused around why this is so surprising? 300W SVTs (at least the two I’ve had) don’t break up on their own without monumental volumes so I don’t find it that surprising that the model wouldn’t have a drive section. I am absolutely not suggesting I’m correct or anything here just trying to be as clear as possible for people who are wondering about the pedal. and in term of captures, yes they reproduce amp break up very well but are still a snapshot of that tone. They reproduce break up extremely well if you have captured your gear set to break up. The machine learning is learning how the amp or pedal reacts to different signals in its current state rather than making approximations about how the gear might react if you change settings. if anyone wants anything in particular checked out on the anagram do let me know and I’ll try and help out. current set up for anyone interested
