  2. Up for sale, my lovely Larrivee OM-2. It’s in fabulous condition, barely a mark on it. Includes original hard case and certificate. The action is very comfortable, 2mm at the 12th fret on the low E, however the saddle is very low and there is little, if any room left for adjustment. This is reflected in the price. I paid £900 from a dealer, about 2 years ago and it’s in the same condition as it was when I bought it. I’m asking £800. Collection only, East Lancs/Yorks border.

  3. I normally have a pre/di in the bag just in case. Recently it's been the Laney Digbeth If anything goes pear shaped, straight into PA
  4. I bought this direct from Boomerang. It’s never been gigged, and barely used in the house. More or less like new, boxed, with PSU. I have stuck 4 small squares of 3M dual lock to the bottom. I’ll leave these on, as it’s pricey stuff and if you haven’t tried it, you really should. It’s great stuff. £250 posted, or collect from near Colne, Lancs.
  5. Beers, steers and queers - Revolting Cocks
  6. I'm quite enjoying it. It's like all the best bits of the band all in one place
  7. I have two used Spector USA bass bridges that once belonged to NS2 basses I no longer own, I had taken these off in favour of black hardware. One is the heavy all-brass version, this has faded somewhat on the bass side. I’m not sure if this could be polished up. The other is the lighter, aluminium version, this one in better condition. It is considerably lighter. Note: these will not drop into a Euro bass without some re-routing to enlarge the space slightly. £150 for each bridge or £285 for the pair. Price includes UK shipping.
  8. Great basses. Beautiful necks. I’ve got a Precision that I took the neck off and replaced it with one from one of these. Perfection 😁
  9. Tell him you’ve never seen such a great parody band. Best ever and that you really needed a laugh. Thank him repeatedly.
  10. Not a BB but a TRB Mk1 Japan and a steal - https://ebay.us/m/J7zX53
  11. Curiosity question: What would you rather see? 1. Ability to have full parameter editing on the pedal itself (no computer needed)? (Bear in mind the limitations of a 3-digit, 7-segment display.) 2. A setlist mode?
  12. Sold subject to sorting out transfers and that.
  13. Definitely US. This came from a parts bass made by a Sadowsky employee. No real markings on it to identify as such. The pickups were scrubbed out and headstock left blank for fear of repercussions. I still have the neck - Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, Graphtech nut, Schaller tuners.
  14. La Bella 760FX Flatwound Strings Used for approximately 4 hours. Cut for Fender style head. £30 including postage.
  15. You have a diddle on my Performer then. Bareroom for a credit card between stings and a lovely headstock
  16. Secretly rebadging Epiphones perhaps?
  17. … I’ve got two OC2s, but would hesitate to modify them. I know they’d be better for it sonically, but I seem to prefer originality. Let us know how easy it is to do, and a before and after sound clip would be very interesting to hear if possible please?
  18. If it doesn’t work out I can collect Thursday Mike 🙂
  19. Not sure what precision comfort is - the further away from 16 it gets, the worse it gets at finding strings!
  20. I got one like that, but 10x10 as I just have the one pole, and don't know if I am getting others. Seems ok, it has padding but as you said, I wouldn't put anything on it.
  21. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  22. Amp turned up today, Factory packaging superb , should be bomb proof in transit ! All now unpacked ,manual studied, and ready to be used tomorrow night ! Exciting, it is .

  24. I went in the middle and got a Trace Elliot Elf - can be used as very capable backup amp, but as it's got a DI and is relatively small it functions well in a direct-to-PA capacity.
  25. I have a couple of old Wem Westminster amps and love them for bass. I saw Richard Hawley on the Coles Corner tour last night and he was using both a Dominator and an earlier Watkins Westminster (with onboard tremolo) on stage. Sounded great. These amps are very capable and last for ever!
