Still seriously contemplating getting one. I figure I can create a NAM model of my current main tone from my Zoom gear as a starting point, and go from there! What would be a good, small expression pedal to use with one of these? Something that would go well with the unit's small footprint?

  4. We wants it, Precious, but we can't affords it. We wants it so badly!
  5. I'm looking to sell these items together as one rig.
  6. 2200 is ok, where are you based?
  7. Agreed, polite, humble and being overly nice to the entire staff. It goes along way. I've seen bands come in like they're doing you a favor just by their mere presence. I just don't understand where that kind of attitude gets you anywhere. And I understand it's not easy for everybody. I just happen to love talking to new people and making sure to make my conversation about them and what they're up to and not about me. Daryl
  8. I'd always thought it was the Precision, though, having seen a few live vids of Maxwell Murder, Time Bomb, etc. where he was using the black 78 Jazz, I subsequently suspected he'd actually used that...So this is a total surprise!
  9. Very nice
  10. The Strain - Bonzo Dog Band
  11. Blast from the past. I have a few of their albums that I will dig out again.
  12. Can't argue with that.
  13. I'd check out the fender rumble or one of the Aguilar tonehammers in the For Sale section here. Amazing amps. But any time I was confronted with a TC something drastic went wrong with it so I'm hardly objective.
  14. Still a bloody lovely looking instrument however 👍
  15. There are few basses as good as a good Ric 👍
  16. Oooof..........!
  17. The 2009 and the 1984. Lighting is different but there is just a really nice aging and yellowing to the ‘84 I also prefer the inlays on the older one, probably because they’re the same as my Fireglo one.
  18. So, I basically only play Rickenbackers these days, not that I have loads. I have a Fireglo 4003 from 1999 that is my main bass until I started travelling. Last year I bought a 2009 4003 in Mapleglo, which after Fireglo is my favourite colour. Then, bored, late at night I came across a 1984 Mapleglo 4003 on Guitar Center. I don’t know what more to say, it’s basically the same bass but older. Neck shape is different but every Ric has always been different for me. It’s incredible
  19. Bought a Zoom B1 Four from David and everything was super easy from start to finish - The pedal was exactly as described, he had great communication throughout and it was fast postage. A top guy to deal with ☺️
  20. ...and a few discrepancies between the post on BC and BD's description - the originality of the body, the fingerboard material - guessing BD clarified some of the details hence lower price
