I doubt it would be boss/ehx/Mxr as frankly if they wanted too they could bring their own anagram type unit to market - and they aren’t going to undercut their own products. I imagine it will be things like is it the Valhalla reverb where a plug-in can find a new audience and compete with something like blackhole
  3. For sale is my Rockboard Quad 4.1 pedlaboard fitted with the Rockboard Mod 1 patchy bay. Used this as my pedalboard for the last 5 years and it has been great, very light but sturdy and very easy to build a good pedalboard with. It's covered in velcro that can of course be removed. Also included is a Pedaltrain gig bag that came with the Pedaltrain that I recently bought. There is a small hole in the case which I've pictured and doesn't include the shoulder strap but other than that it's never been used. This could probably be stitched or glued back together... not that I'm an arts and crafts expert though! It just happens to fit the rockboard Quad 1 perfectly so thought I would list it as one whole thing.
  4. For sale is my Truetone 1Spot CS7 Great power supply in very good condition (just a slight scratch on the yellow paint) complete with box, mounting kit and all the various cables. Reason for sale is that I bought a CIOKS SOL for my Quad Cortex which I then obviously I sold but it still fits my needs better than the CS7 so needs to go! £110 ono delivered

  5. For sale is a set of EMG J Jazz Bass pickups for 4 string bass. Comes with the solderless controls and wiring kit. Doesn't include the Jazz control plate sorry, using this just to keep it all together safely for the moment. I think I threw the box away but can package them securely and all instructions are available from the EMG website. Had these in my Jazz Bass for a year and saw very little use as I tend to gig mainly 5 string and precision basses. Decided I wanted to change back to passive pickups, so these are up for sale. Great sounding pickups and completely noiseless!

Reckon so, I can’t see them having the bandwidth to do everything people might want from scratch so hopefully they have an mxr/boss/ehx deal lined up or in progress. You would have thought that they have software versions of their own pedals already that will be easily portable. Boss definitely do, just a question of whether they want to play ball I guess. But yeah, dirt pedals are low hanging fruit as they are pretty simple circuits and gives people some different and classic options to the dg ones. Shows they are good on the updates so that’s a win win. looking forward to updating and trying the muff in particular!

  12. Following some interesting conversations with friends who play in bands and thinking about my own various dynamics with bands, what level of input, control or influence do you have in the bands you play in? Are you an occasional dep, turn up, do your thing and go home, are you the creative force and band leader that gets the bookings, makes all the decisions and leads from the front or, are you, as most of us will be, somewhere in between and if so, what does your "in between" look like? What's the dynamic? Where on the scale are you?

  16. Originally released on Vinyl, we also wanted it as a gatefold cover but the record company wouldn't cost it for that so here is what it would have looked like as a gatefold cover.....

  18. Holy crap, thats a looker 😍
  19. Sure, not exactly what you'd call a bargain-priced practice amp, but it's worth every penny...and it's louder than my friend's Fender Rumble 100 no matter the volume setting. My friend didn't want to admit it but he was definitely green with envy. Funny thing is, he laughed when I walked through the door with it...he thought it was one of those plastic battery-powered amps like the Laney NX or the Blackstar Fly. He couldn't believe it when I plugged in.
