  2. great pedal, great price - love mine😍
  3. Keeley Bassist - Boxed, Very good condition, velco fitted, no power supply. £120 Source Audio Hot Hand 3 - boxed. Think I plugged this in 10 years ago and couldn't be bothered with the learning curve. The rubber finish on the receiver is starting to go tacky, no idea what to ask for this, £30? Ampeg SGT-DI - Hasn't left the house, small mark above the "aux in" but otherwise very good knick. £230. Prices include UK shipping, any questions please ask, cheers!
  4. well i’ve posted mine on here so have a look
  5. Great little cab, I love mine
  6. Thing with the double bass rooms is they sell at good prices for buyers ..so I'm guessing not great prices for sellers. Great place tho.
  7. Colour me interested.
  8. This might actually turn out well, almost like I planned it
  9. For me it’s Babylon by Bus - Bob Marley, it’s a live album and Family man’s basslines are just superb, I don’t play it often but when I do it’s quite uplifting, it’s worth a listen if your not familiar with it imo
  10. Are you all just making these names up?
  11. Sounds perfectly rational to me. Oh, and bloody "influencers"!
  12. Epiphone EB3 SG Bass in lovely cherry red finish This is the long scale version 34" scale no dings or noticeable scratches or gouges looks and plays great , DIY mirrored scratch plate (can be removed) i prefer the look of the bass without a pickguard. This has also been fitted with a strap button adapter This balances the bass perfectly and eliminates the notorious Epiphone/ Gibson neck dive this too can be removed if preferred, but it does make the bass much more comfortable to play The Rosewood fretboard has been stained to look like ebony(looks much nicer)see the difference in the pictures. Only selling due to upgrading to a new Gibson Model. unfortunately i don't have a spare case for this so would prefer pick up.from Cambs pe285ap i would consider a trade or PX for a solid body short scale , Any thing considered except Gibson or epiphone as i already have a EB3 short scale.

  13. Hey! Is this still available?
  14. I was gifted these copper nylon strings from a good friend @HowieD72. I’m really surprised by the tone. I put them on my 78 mij Yamaha pulser p bass. Maple fretboard and Asian ash body. When you dig in it’s feels like it has a compression effect of the highs. Tames it in a good way. When playing chords they have great sustain and tone, very sweet sounding. They are on loose side (a tad tighter than it flats). This put me off at first. I contacted La Bella and they suggested you should always start off with the regular tensions. Another thing I noticed is the output is lower than my nickels or flats. No problem though I just increase the volume on amp. I am so impressed with its feel under my fingers, so smooth and tone that I’m going to purchase the regular tension. sound so articulate and percussive playing fingerstyle.
  15. I bought a super light (sub 8 pound) CIJ 60s P bass from them in 2024 and all was fine then. Bass as described, arrived quickly etc. I asked the proprietor to double check weight (having been stung before on inaccurately measured weights, including on BC....) and he reconfirmed. Man of few words, if I recall, but the bass was nice!
  16. Root beer, if MusicMan.
  17. Thank you. It works a treat. I feel a bit daft now being rather obvious. You're spot on too. The One Pump Chump is listed as a dependency to the The Zip in the specifications for the standing position. Someone suggested going directly to 'Bass Sniper'. Unbelievable.
  18. Id post this on the thread discussing these - It wasnt so long ago and might save someone joining the waiting list.
  19. Great shout.
  20. Today
  21. Mmmm.... Now that is a work of beauty. Lovely amounts of usage. No showroom queen (in a really good way), you'd have no issues using this. Thankfully I'm completely skint but that's a great looking bass.
  22. Has anyone dealt with them before? I asked them a perfectly reasonable question and got short shrift. Just wondering if I've caught them on an off-day...?
  23. I play mostly in pubs / clubs / wedding venues with a very basic Presonus PA and it was noticeable compared to the direct to mixer via a high quality active DI sound. The sound tightened up and I could here myself better because it pushes the sound forward. Using quality iem / studio headphones / high end hifi it was very noticeable.
  24. A conventional repair would usually involve access from both sides, so a top or back off job, which is either going to be an expensive luthier job or a big DIY one. And it's pretty much in the location where some modern bass makers have put sound ports. The example in the link uses multiple small holes, but one oval just large enough to cover the missing parts would look neat and deliberate. I think I'd want some sort of cross-grain reinforcement on the inside of the hole just for stability and to stop any hairline cracks from spreading https://uptonbass.com/product/arnold-schnitzer-upton-bass-ergo/
  25. I used a soundhole insert from a broken gipsy guitar (so small enough for the side) just as you suggest. Great minds... 😉
