  1. Past hour
  2. TBH, there's probably more human thought been put into the AI than some of the muzak/elevator music I've heard in my time.
  3. Welcome Buggler.
  4. You can shim this bolt-on neckthrough, but it won't solve the problem unless you sand the upper part of the neck flat with the body so that the bridge sits flat again. This will work. PS: You can sand the part under the bridge only, which would allow a going back, in case it was necessary.
  5. This. I've been able to get rid of a load of tat that I didn't need anymore with minimal effort on my part, especially when it came to working out the postage. I even made some money too.
  6. One of these. Cort a5. Absolutely astonishing bass. So comfortable to play and sounds tremendous. It's quickly became my #1!
  7. Before we all get worked up with our keyboard outrage, has anyone taken the time to actually listen to the two bands in question? Holding Absence are rather formulaic bland modern pop-rock so it's really no surprise that AI has supposedly been able to replicate their "style" of music. I'd be interested to know just why Lucas Woodland has decided that Bleeding Verse are copying his band and not the countless other real bands doing the same kind of music with rock guitars, keyboards and alternating melodic and screamo vocals? There's no real story there at all. I'm sure that Holding Absence have managed to get some more streams and maybe a few more fans, but it all smacks of publicity seeking to me.
  8. Both books in basically new condition. Looking for £50 for both (which is what I paid)
  9. Sent you a PM
  10. The prices have gone back up 😢.
  11. The Laughing Gnome - Bowie
  12. I received the Richter Ultra Comfort strap and it feels really nice. The leather is good, the padding is very comfortable. The Gruvgear should arrive today, I wonder how they compare.
  13. no, the pickup is not in the same place as a P bass. (I measured mine). It's the same with the current Adam Clayton Warwick too. They sound good but not the same as a P bass
  14. As suspected no problem at all with the bridge pins, they all come out perfectly easily.
  15. It depends whether you are listening with your ears or with your eyes. This sounds just like a P-bass:
  16. Earlier this year, in my quest for U2 basses came these Warwicks Then came a Harry White 4003 Found myself buying a Ric bridge pickup and the bloke played me some stuff he recorded with his Ric thru an Ampeg V4B. So I had to buy one of those too Wow, ussed the HW thru the Ampeg last week at a Total Jam gig. Awesome. Total Jam are a Jam tribute not able to get everything lined up but what a year I've had Ampeg has given me the best sound I've had in 38 years of gigging
  17. Ta da, patented! 🌟😊
  18. Today
  19. Any offers? I’d like to get these gone, and used by someone who wants them. Basically offer what you can!
  20. Personally I’ve found the new eBay way of working much easier to sell books and low value items. Postage being arranged is a good bonus, too.
  21. Definitely US. This came from a parts bass made by a Sadowsky employee. No real markings on it to identify as such. The pickups were scrubbed out and headstock left blank for fear of repercussions. I still have the neck - Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, Graphtech nut, Schaller tuners.
