  1. Past hour
  2. I owned it, but ended up selling it, because I'm a BassChatter... GR Bass AeroTech Full Carbon Cube 800 Combo coupled to a GR Bass AeroTech Full Carbon Cube 112+ cabinet. Super light and super powerful with excellent definition and almost neutral sounding.
  3. We put domed lights on top of our cabs to stop people putting drinks down. Dave
  4. A Tony Franklin like Precision Bass would be a better description. It has what looks like an ebony fingerboard with a brass nut on what also looks to be a 70's Fender P-Bass neck, with a Jazz Bass pickup under the bridge cover and the output jack located on the side as the hole is now certainly occupied by the tone control. If it's an original Fender 70's Precision Bass neck, the fingerboard has been changed as it was either rosewood or varnished maple.
  5. Had that happen to our sound guy a while back and it killed the cab 😡 he built some pitched roof covers for them so it was impossible
  6. Was great watching you last Thursday. You sat in the pocket effortlessly. You made it seem super natural. The whole band did great is such a hot venue. I questioned my life choices with the clothes I decided to wear to the gig lol. Hope to see you catch the band again.
  7. I was sent this bass via Whatsapp that was for sale at a local car boot sale this morning. If this is yours then please do let me know as I am curious! So the question is.....any ideas on what it would be? Apparently it was being described as a Jaco signature but, well, I always hand him down as a sunburst Jazz type....
  8. Great bass at a great price too!
  9. Is that the bowling green @Norris?
  10. My Glockenklang Soul 2x10" is old, but it has been the best combo ever. 38 kg is the bad side. Before that I had a Peavey DataBass, around the same wattage (450), but one 15" BW. A super combo would be 2x12", some 500 W - 1 kW / 8 ohm, two inputs, and under 25 kg. HPF. Built-in wheels.
  11. Final gig of the weekend was a nice "acoustic" session this afternoon in the garden of another pub in Ashby. Not a huge crowd but still very enjoyable, and they were wearing more clothing this time 😂 I forgot to take any photos earlier so here's our guitarist I love playing the EUB but in the second set it turned a bit grey and windy, so we kept on playing - for nearly 2 hours in the end! Needless to say I was pretty glad when we finished the last number Sunglasses throughout and burgundy suede Vans
  12. Today
  13. Cheers Alex.... 👍
  14. I recently bought a 70s Eros EB bass from Paul. He knew it was a very special instrument to me and one I'd love to own again and he kindly gave me first refusal. A true Basschat gentleman.
  15. Bough Paul’s Danelectro longhorn bass. It was exactly as described. He was extremely helpful and didn’t even accept my offer for a deposit in order to hold the bass for me. Great guy, super easy transaction. Highly recommended.
  16. What monitor do you mean? I am not sure I have ever pressed or noticed a utility icon
  17. Given most people don’t know who he is, I reckon we can get away with it.
  18. Now just £1275 for the weekend and after that its getting pulled, taking a big hit on this
  19. Harvest Home - Big Country
  20. I have one of these and they really are excellent! Si
  21. Raising cash so up for sale is IMHO one of the finest tracking octavers available for bass. It has two distinct octave voices a Growl which replicates the toothy synth tone of an OC2 and a Girth which is smooth and deep like an EBS octabass/octamizer. You can get subtle variations from mixing the two. It also has a switchable mid boost/cut on the clean tone which can be adjusted internally, very handy. Usual small MXR enclosure with fantastic build quality. Its in great condition and a beautiful deep blue sparkle. No box, but will be well packed. (Note- the A sticker will be removed and cleaned, ive a two channel setup and kept mixing them up 🤣) £90 posted to UK only
  22. Ever wanted that mega Bi phase action like a musitronic! But smaller and cheaper. These are difficult to find, so my last bump.
