  1. Past hour
  2. I'm not a million miles away from Chorley. If there's anything I can do to help....
  3. It's a complete myth that originals bands' gigs are poorly attended. Over the past 25 years the originals bands I have been in have had no problem attracting audiences. And if they are it's down to the bands not being sufficiently entertaining musically or visually, and/or too disorganised or lazy to do the required promotion. And in those cases they only have themselves to blame.
  4. Sold two items here, 1; EBS Session combo. Service Xpress 48. Currently resting in Chorley, Lancs PFW hub, where it's been for 10 days with no further movement (assuming it is actually there and not in the local cash converters or a bin, in pieces) Just refunded the buyer having initiated a claim. 2; P.bass. Service Xpress 24, dropped off at local Post office, tracking had no movement at all. Popped back to local post office yesterday and guess what? it was still there after 5 days. Apparently, ParcelForce hadn't been to collect anything for nearly a week !! At what point was I actually going to find out or be told? After much wrangling and proof providing, they gave it back to me and I took it to a main office yesterday afternoon. Tracking now says "Delivery today" Luckily, I'd sold on BC where folks are understanding but it's still embarrassing. You really can't make this shit up.
  5. I’ll take offers on this as I’ve got stuff to pay for. at the studio tomorrow night bump
  6. I have already cut it as a normal right side bass. Yeah I have a pillar drill and fresh bit. I think using inserts and possibly a custom made walnut neck plate will stop knot having to take too much load. I’m hoping the when I route the neck pocket, the knot goes off at and angle and there will be plenty of good wood in the pocket.
  7. That's good to hear. I play 5 string. Be interested to (eventually) learn how the 5 string M6 stacks up against the Cort Space 🤔
  8. I would recommend at least the V7 for an all rounder
  9. I would get in touch with Marc (he is active on instagram) and ask
  10. We know
  11. But without the graphite in Status case, so things are definitely different there...
  12. Aye! I found these Swiss funksters through FB...
  13. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  14. Bump for a couple of great cabs, happy to separate or do a little deal for both… jonny
  15. I would be delighted if a Tribute SB-1 appeared...
  16. This is my favourite bass drive pedal, but I just got an Anagram so needs to go. It's a Rat based pedal, designed to emulated Justin Chancellor's tone. Comes with original box, price includes UK shipping.

  17. My favourite compressor. So simple to use and get great results that even a luddite like me can use it. Price includes UK shipping.
  18. This is a lovely compressor with a really useful tilt EQ, which is great to tweak your sound to the room. Includes original box, price includes UK shipping.

  19. If I were Fender I would make the factory a Fender theme park ....
  20. The low note at 1.45…
  21. Making it practical to use.
  22. Numan rocks!
  23. Today
  24. I enjoy the BTW You Tube channel and can understand this desire to work with a manufacturer to produce a signature model, but raise the question as to why they feel it's necessary to bring another Jazz styled bass into a marketplace that's already full of them. Players here will make all the usual points about the hardware, the weight, the electrics, the nut width and (ooh) the tonewoods, but let's face it 99.9% of guys here (me included) couldn't recognise ash from alder or Wilkinson tuners from Gotoh unless they could read the name stamped on them.
  25. He's Frank(enstein) - The Monochrome Set
  26. Hammer Horror - Kate Bush
