Unfortunately not. This was the band mentioned in my first post in this thread that ended after me and the replacement singer had a blazing row. We did have a lot of management and record company interest and had tracks included on several compilation albums. The original singer's replacement was very nearly the daughter of a famous musician. However I did calculate a while back that the increased share of my songwriters royalties had already more than covered my portion of the costs of buying the original singer out.

Westone "The Rail" Bass - DOA - Now a minimal bass

And the slight hum coming from the power generator could be used as a drone when tuned to the desired pitch. -
Half? 1 % would be closer to truth. Some even think that P bass with flats is all I ever need.

Looks like they're properly announcing headless Dingwalls at Guitar Summit this year. Doesn't appear to be any other details yet. The little wings for the headstock so it fits on a hangar seem odd, but it's nice they've thought about it.

Line 6 HX Stomp XL, selling due to downsizing my board. It's in great condition, one chip to the paintwork on the front that was there from new. You can see it on the photos beside the A switch. It's spent the majority of its time on a pedalboard in a protective case. It currently has some custom and purchased presets on it, but I can reset it back to factory if preferred. It comes with velcro on the back, the rubber feet are in the box. Located in Devon. Can meet in person if nearby, or buyer decides on/pays for postage. Here's my feedback thread:

The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!

Looks like it is the same neck but with 24, not 20, frets so it is unlikely to be any lighter. Boo. -
Inspirational musician... and always such an amazing double bass tone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg_Utj4Aljc

Totally agree - before the I made my first neck I viewed it as something akin to witchcraft, once you do it once you realise it's actually quite simple, and is now by far my favourite part of the build process

The 3D images are of the US custom shop as he discusses using the same dimensions/shaping. The blue one is a US custom shop. You can tell by the bridge, pickups, figuring, matching headstock and inlays.

There is no 100% correct bass for everyone. This forum would probably half in size if that were not true...

Is the nut further out than it used to be? If it suddenly appeared after years of being hidden, then it may well be a broken rod. Or the nut has stripped off the rod. Technically they are replaceable, but remember Leo's original idea was just to bin the neck and get a new one if it needed any major work. You can either drill a hole at the heel and push them out, or take the fingerboard off. Neither is a good option.

Sold a TC Ditto Looper to Simon. We met outside an overground station close to my house and ended up chatting for 45 mins! Great guy and other than the quick sale it was fun to meet and talk about Warwicks 🤘🏻

You can do it perfectly well with a hand drill, just get (or make) a drilling guide so the holes go in square to the face. Use some sharpie or tape around the bit as a depth gauge so you don't go too far. As far as making necks goes, just try it! As long as you're starting off with a cheaper piece of wood and are prepared to risk it turning into scrap, what have you got to lose? You don't need a bunch of expensive jigs, just lay it out carefully and take your time. The first one might be a bit wonky or maybe even unplayable, but you'll learn a lot and the next one will be better. Remember, if you wanted the best possible bass you'd buy something, but you actually want the best bass you can make!

If you search for “online tone generator” you should find a free app which will generate pure audio tones via the iPad. You can then use that to put reasonably high level 4 or 5khz tones through your cab, which might give you a more accurate indication of the effect of switching the tweeters on and off?
