  2. I'll be having my foot operation on the Wednesday before the bash. I'm having the metal plates/wires or whatever removed from when I had my accident. I'm not sure how immobile I'll be so my poor downtrodden Mrs said she'll drive me up there if needed. I'm hoping (and most probably hopping) it won't be too bad and I'll be able to stand on my own two feet but I might need to be seated and have basses handed to me on request to drool over. I'll still be bring my gear along. Also. If anybody wants a good (Bass Direct) shipping box please let me know as I have a couple here that are taking up space. Also, also. We are both veggies. Can't wait!!!

  4. Spot on Brian, it does show two things, firstly how easy it is (or could be), and secondly that people are willing to do it. Be on your guard folks, and remember that vintage guitars = antiques = shit loads of money and shady practices
  5. Anagram doesn’t have a phaser currently, just an FYI

  8. Quite a change from a high end bass to a simple J.

  13. Hi, I’m selling my Aguilar Octamizer version 2. Well looked after and very little use. £185 price includes UK Postage. Here’s a bit of info from Aguilar: AN ALL-ANALOG OCTAVE PEDAL THAT CREATES A WIDE RANGE OF MUSICAL SOUNDS AN OCTAVE BELOW YOUR BASS SIGNAL. Modeled with old school and new school needs in mind, the Octamizer features independent volume controls for both the Clean and Octave sounds. This makes dialing in the exact amount of each a cinch. The two discrete signal paths also have their own tone controls that were specifically designed to enhance and expand their musical possibilities. The CLEAN TONE control uses a full spectrum tilt EQ, allowing for the boosting of treble while cutting bass or boosting of bass while cutting treble. This unique circuit allows you to create a clean sound that creates an octave doubling effect or to blend the sounds together for a great thick, snarky synth tone. *Pedal powered by universal 9-volt power supply only. Not included. Proprietary detector circuit for superior tracking Continuously variable multipole low-pass filter for Octave sound Dual filter architecture Full spectrum tilt EQ for clean sound Pedal powered by universal 9-volt power supply only. Not included. Cheers! Michael
  14. Hi, I’m selling my Darkglass B3K. Well looked after and sounds great. I’m just not using it anymore. £160 price includes UK Postage. Here’s some info from Darkglass: An intuitive format that contains brutality and clarity at the same time is what the B3K delivers. A defined and powerful overdrive, with a simple layout, it sets no boundaries or rules to unleashing the desired tone. Blend Mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine control of the blend ratio. Tone Controls the high frequency content of the sound. A variable low pass filter from 3kHz (ccw) to 8kHz (cw). Level Sets the volume of the overdriven signal. Drive Sets the amount of saturation in the overdriven signal. Grunt When engaged provides a massive low end boost to really thicken your sound. Mid Boost Gives a subtle 6dB boost from 300 Hz to 1kHz to help you cut through a bit more. Output Connect from the ¼” Output jack to the input of your amplifier or another effects pedal. Input Connect your instrument or output from your pedal board to the ¼” mono jack. 9V DC Only use a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Dimensions Width: 75 mm / 3″ Length: 111 mm/ 4¼″ Height: 43 mm / 1¾″ Weight: 250 g / 0.55 lb Warning The Microtubes B3K has a current draw of 20mA. 17. I can’t see why not, there’s a lot of boost available, and you can select the frequency to boost which imo is the real bonus. Many years ago I used an active bass and had a sort of solo, all I did was boost the mids on the bass itself and the solo really stood out, looks to me like this pedal would do the same and more.
  18. I can just see Matt sitting on top of the car with strings through the window to the steering wheel and the car loaded with gear.

  20. I saw what you did there 😎
  21. I’m after a booster pedal that’ll enable bass solos to stand out more that’s the same size as the TC Electronic Mini Spark but has an EQ setting. Anyone know if this’d work? I don’t want to buy one and potentially have to return it. Anyone have recommendations too? https://aguilaramp.com/en-int/products/db316-mid-eq-pedal?srsltid=AfmBOorh-gPs47Ycmu7DJ2-jhDdAQaa4ttBQl9RLKLQ9FkMV7pM3fZwt
  22. I wish I were the same Bill, though I do have a bass at the moment that I bought new in 2015 which I’ll never sell (unless things determine otherwise of course).
  23. Here’s my trusty, and very capable combo up for sale. Owned by me from new, with cover. Extension cab now sold. Gigged plenty, but both still in immaculate condition, and never pushed hard. This has been a quality amp for me and has never let me down. No more live playing for me anymore so it needs to go to a new home. Planning on downsizing home n the near future so clearing out unnecessary stuff now. These will be collect only from sunny West Yorkshire as I have nothing to ship them in, but you’d be welcome to come and try it out…..and I’ll have the kettle on! Combo comes complete with unused foot switch. Any questions just ask.
