It will probably glare at me for a few months and then I will sell it on. Multi FX fascinate me and scare me.

The ads Ive seen on TV are full of under 50's, way under. . I still hold my case. Old tunes are simply more tuneful, more interstng and just plain better than anything today.

I have largish hands and find the Seagull S6 brilliant as they have a wider nut than usual, I have the S6 QIT and they’re well within your budget if you go used. Made in Canada.

2016 model, in original condition as far as i can see. Comes with original soft case. Weighs bang on 9lb according to scales. Strung with TI flats. Collection from MK. I'm willing to post but for something of this value, I'd prefer you to arrange your own courier. I could potentially meet at a railway station on the West Coast main Line - Euston to Crew/Wolves/Brum. No trades as I'm thinning out! (Famous last words!)

No worries, very generous gift to the lucky one.

I'm one of the guys with the Luthier built acoustic etc etc etc, but I've also helped quite a few people buying guitars in your price bracket, one of the favourites was an Aria Sandpiper, i always said that if i were to go off on tour somewhere i'd get a pair of sandpipers and leave my fancy acoustic at home. another good pick would be something by Yamaha, I have a DW-105C that was my first acoustic and it is a great guitar and i played it in church for about 10 years before i bought the fancy one. I won't suggest a particular one in the Yamaha range, just play some and pick the one that you like the most in your budget. other makes to check out would be Tanglewood, Vintage, Aria, Freshman. and if you can find one in budget then Blueridge make somne of the most impressive martin clones i've ever played, a friend has one and it's a stunning guitar for the £400 he bought it for, easily matches the martins i've played at £2k+ I find it easier to list the acoustics i've not liked over the ones i'd recommend, I've never played a Taylor that i thought was worth the price tag (and i've played them from the baby up to the 900 series) and anything with a bowl back is just totally off the list (again i've played cheap and pricey ones) Matt

Just arrived! Am I first out the blocks after @Quatschmacher on this forum?! Looking forward to giving the stock patches a spin very soon and, at some point down the line getting the necessary cables to hook it up to my PC.

Owen bought a Plethora X3 from me. Great comms, rapid payment and he's kindly let me know it has arrived ... as smooth as smooth can be! Thanks Owen, hope you enjoy it! Sam x

Very nice condition apart from a nasty knock pictured. I've recently had this set up by Andy Viccars and plays nicely, with frets redressed BUT he says it won't take another dressing and will need refret. Collection from MK or Postage at buyers cost and risk. This was made in the Smack Factory - the logo is Gold with a back outline although it looks silver in the pic.

Sorry, it's already gone. I didn't see a message until a few minutes ago. Nephew was rooting around on my PC, suspect they read it and I didn't see the flag.

As I'm about to (hopefully) join my new churches worship Team, I think it's time to treat myself to a new electro-acoustic 6 string. What 6 strings do you play and can recommend? Please don't tell me about your guitar that's bespoke, luthier made, crafted from timber salvaged from Noah's Ark and strung with strings of the finest unicorn hair, I don't want to hear from show offs, I just need honest recommendations for a workhorse acoustic that will deliver the holy goods and not break the bank, my budget is more than likely going to be around £400.

Oh right. I took it as a reference to the lead guitarist I mentioned. No idea who the dancer was, but he's at his mate's wedding so I hope he had fun.

I would say that as the BC collective is generally a friendly bunch (yes you are), and this thread doesn't have any serious consequences (no prizes/awards at the end) then let @Geek99 stay. Absolutely the last thing I would want to do in any thread is to prevent a BCer from being able to drown out a geetard. 😃
