  2. Hi, Did you buy this amp last month? cheers
  3. It's born for funk and rock music! Thanks to the ramp and 35 scale it manages to maintain a relatively low action and can be played also with a... "physical finge style"!

  5. I've thought about getting one, mostly to tune E-C and defret, to go with my one remaining US Bongo (I had four at one point!). Fretless US Bongos are as rare as rocking horse s**t. And I had one and let it go! Might just keep an eye out for a US one at this point, I think. The ultra-hot neodymium pickups and the 4-band EQ ARE the Bongo sound and there's nothing available aftermarket (that I know of) that mimics that. Q-Tuner do MM-sized neo pickups, but I've no idea if they're based on the Bongo design or sound anything like them. And Trickfish and Noll will do you a 4-band preamp, but they won't have the frequencies of the Bongo's EQ.
  6. These three pedals are probably three of my 10-15 most beautiful.
  7. I've had TI flats on my Lull PJ5 for at least 10 years, could be longer. IMO they sound as good as when I put them on. I always play with a lump of foam under the strings. A set of D'Addario NYXL's have been on my Sadowsky Jazz since 2018. I don't like the zing of new strings, but the NYXL's still have enough life in them to sound great on a gig.
  8. I Lamb I Said - Neil Diamond
  9. Hi, I haven't had these for long (I used to own both these pedals many years ago, but bought them for the second time recently), but a recent change in musical direction has now made these obsolete. I have about 700€ invested in these and I' m looking to get back 650€ for them which seems reasonable considering the ridiculous prices the seperate pedals go for these days. I'm selling to fund some new hardware and onboard pre-amp for my main axe, so I'm not interested in trades this time, sorry.. Shipping from Belgium. Sales pitch: Up for sale is this magnificant duo of rare pedals made by Spencer at 3 Leaf Audio. The Proton is his take on the Mutron III filter and it doesn't get much funkier than this! The Doom is a unique sounding fuzz that is extremely dynamic and can get supersynthy. When combined these pedals offer a wide variety of funky and synthy sounding tones that are used by lany great artist that are looking to get someyhing "extra" out of their pedalboard (think of Stuart Zenders work with Jamiroquai, Tim Lefebre, Janek Gwizdala,...) Due to the very limited production these are very hard to come by and they keep going up in value, so finding a set like these two is quite a rare opportunity. Both pedals come with the original packaging and can be shipped worldwide. Kind regards, Don

  11. Used, gigged & hacked around a bit. Handle & USB 'A' outlet fitted. The baseplate was a good upgrade. Includes gig bag. Price includes UK postage.
  12. Deleted. Didn't read the first post correctly. Doh!

  14. I loved TI flats on my Pino P but disliked them greatly on my MM USA Sterling, on which they sounded way too high mid forward. I'm an old roundwounds fan; although I do frequently brighten them up with the loosen them off and twang them routine.
  15. I cannot be in a band environment than even has this relatively minor level of toxicity. It saps any level of enjoyment out of it for me. I’d have to find something else.
  16. Love Meat Do = The Beatles
  17. I've been B (nothing wrong with my playing, C was a friend of A and D who were brothers and ran the band and he decided he wanted to be in the band). E and F weren't happy with the way it was done (they told me there were no rehearsals for a few weeks - there were, but not with me). Eventually F told me. It wasn't very nice. Eventually it was water under the bridge and a few years later I depped for them, but a while later they asked me to rejoin and I turned them down - largely because they'd turned out to be a load of racist bastards.
  18. I've got a Double Trolley by Marc Grue. I got it broken and have mended it to be in usuable condition. I found this unusable, where the wheels were bent, and the wheel frame did no fit the stool, and the latch under the seat snapped and a few other problems. I've put a new latch on and rebent the frame, cleaned it up and tighten some loose parts so that it is in good working condition. I've have tried and tested a couple of times going to and from, and at rehearsals. This is a trolley which helps move your bass around and conveniently doubles up as a stool. Tyres hold pressure, and will require a bungee to fasten to your bass. Find out more about it here: https://doubletrolley.com/index.php Due to the size of the item, I would prefer not to post. Can meet halfway or deliver if not too far away. I can provide more pictures on request. Open to offers. Thank you

  19. Which ones are not t**ts, you can get on with, and can play the songs? Keep them, sack the rest. If none of the above find another band
  20. Meat Me Half Way - Kenny Loggins
  21. Shop with confidence, peeps. I still have Mungo’s Pino P, and am still loving it. Great seller, and great gear.
  22. The best-playing Jazz I have owned, and the one that gains all the compliments - from fellow band members for the sound and the audience for its striking looks. Comes with new Fender gig bag and case candy. A retaining screw has been refitted since the pics were taken.
  23. Bought @jezzaboy's MS-60B. Helpful, well-packaged delivery, really pleasant and solid guy to deal with.
  24. The place we use has a very old Ashdown ABM300 head into a Ashdown Mag 4x10 cab. Turns out it sounds huge! Which is handy as parking in the area is scarce and travelling light is the way to go.
  25. Sausage In A Bottle — The Police
  26. This isn't going to end well. Unless that is you simplify things by banging all the band members significant others. That's something that always sorts everything out and never has any negative consequences whatsoever.
  27. If you're leaving the band @Lozz196 what's the plan for the future considering you've 2 lightweight Bergs and one on the way. Its like the ideal family. Do you have something else in mind ? Studio work or sit down Jazz gigs ? Dave
