In this exact same position, feeling like do I pull the trigger on one of the online courses to get me going. Bassbuzz or SBL were my main ones but il check out that talking bass as mentioned above

The original g3 I played was sooo nice. Weird as it was smooth and powerful but had a presence to it that I’d not heard before.
-
Not everyone has a glass back - with a 10lb bass I only get a little tired after about 2hrs with it on me standing up. This will be fine. 😊

that’s how I set my capo up with the GT1000core, very fun setup!

EB Pino Paladino Smoothie Flats - Bargain ?
edstraker123 replied to edstraker123's topic in Accessories and Misc
I went with the extra lights. I'd read on another forum the heavier gauge were primarily for drop tunings ( not sure of the validity of that claim.) Unfortunately I put them on a new bass which is a Xmas present - it was confiscated 5 minutes after the set up so didn't get a chance to test them to make a proper opinion sound wise but they sounded great through the Spark Neo and certainly good enough to want to put them on other higher end basses -

I played there a few years back, great venue. Afterwards the rest of the band got tear-gassed by the police when outside for a (very inefficient it turned out) breath of fresh air.

Musicman20 started following Epiphone... G-3?

Guaranteed they make it some FOMO rush to buy an expensive Epiphone. The natural is far nicer. Guess less chance of getting one. They are pricey and my god, HEAVY!

Most likely everybody knows that NS means Ned Steinberger, the designer of the bass. The first basses were available with two pickup brands (the other was DiMarzio) and with 1 or 2 pickups. NS-1 was the first unit (1 meant 1 pickup).

EB Pino Paladino Smoothie Flats - Bargain ?

All well and good, but... what about the sound? Flatwounds tend to have issues with cross string consistency; how are these. BTW, which set did you buy? -

Peterson combo driver upgrade (and related plywood boxes)
Pea Turgh replied to Pea Turgh's topic in Amps and Cabs
Got the box together, put the driver in to see how it sounds. Disappointing! Loud as hell, but very bass-heavy to the point of woolly. But that’s ok, as there is still work to do (aside from making it pretty) 1. The port was bought, and is a cm or two short. I will extend it with something suitable. 2. I will also stick wadding to the inside (I’m sure I can hear a difference). 3. I think some additional bracing would help, too. There’s just about space to put one on the baffle between the driver and port at a 45 degree angle. 4. I also have a bit of tecsound deadening material left over from the studio to stick to the back panel. I didn’t fancy a normal backplate (why make life easy for myself?) so I recessed the Speakon. Quite like it. The top-mounted handle is a bit big, or the feet I bought for the amp are a bit short. Will have to purchase bigger feet. -
Thats a lovely clean Precision Pow, the rout would not bother me either, out of sight out on mind. Your health to enjoy it
