  2. Can I Touch You There ? - Michael Bolton
  3. Setting off for a day at the studio tomorrow… I’m packing a Les Paul Standard, 60’s reissue strat, 50’s reissue Strat with Baritone neck (27” scale) and a Guild Baritone 8 String. It does seem I’m more the guitarist at the moment…I’ve sold 4 basses recently and @Dankology is doing a sterling job holding down the bottom end… Enjoying the challenge - Not enjoying remembering to turn pedals on and off and playing the solos correctly…
  4. Whilst I'll try not taking offence as I do listen to Planet Rock, what songs should replace them in your opinion?
  5. I'm Always Touched By Your Presents Dear — Blondie
  6. They look like the groovline models from a few years ago following plastic surgery. There are elements of Sadowsky, Alpher and dare I say it…Cort GB. There’s nowt there for me. Anyhow…
  7. First show of 2026 for me
  8. The Gift - The Velvet Underground
  9. Payment sent @scrumpymike. Cheers again!!
  10. Stairway To Heaven (#2) Freebird (#5) Smoke on the Water (#13) Whole Lotta Rosie (#10) Sweet Child of Mine (#9) Bohemian Rhapsody (#1) Alright Now (#30) Enter Sandman (#14) Ace of Spades (#22) Like shooting fish in a barrel. Amazingly, only two songs from this effing century in the top 50. Says a lot about Planet Rock and the listenership.
  11. The MS-20 has a 3.5mm stereo jack and it is about as cheap as you can get, but it is fine connected to the aux out.
  12. Yeaaaah these aren't for me. I know I'm not the only one but thats too many knobs for me, plus the jazz bass knockoff shape looks off, feels like they've made concessions to the shape to accomodate them extra frets. Also the balance looks like it'll be crap

  14. Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours - Stevie Wonder
  15. Thanks, it certainly has mojo 😎
  16. Might be worth noting that "standard" IEM systems are designed to plug into aux outs from desks in the same way as you would a powered wedge, hence having a xlr input, but I've noticed some of the cheaper IEMS are essentially just wireless headphones, given away by having a stereo jack input. I suspect these latter units might need a headphone amp to work.
  17. It's a Zilla 212. Lovely sounding thing. They'll make just about anything on request, but they've got a fun configurator on their website for tolex, piping and grill cloth options. The cabs are all made down in Cornwall these days. https://www.zillacabs.com/
  18. I’ve gone back to using a head and cab, so my Markbass combo is up for grabs. It’s a great amp, deceptively loud for its size and in good condition (although the handle is looking a bit worse for wear). Looking for £425 collected from Haywards Heath, or I’d be happy to meet halfway within a reasonable distance. Better photos, proof of ownership etc to come but here are some for starters.
  19. Relisting this as, try as I might, I am not A Jazz Bass Guy. Original thread below, the only thing that’s changed since May is the bass is now wearing a nicely worn in set of La Bella IMA Super Polished strings. I’m in the market for a JMJ Mustang so would be interested in a trade involving one of those (plus cash adjustment on my end). Collection from Haywards Heath preferred, or I’d be happy to meet within 30 miles or so.

  20. I had a Session 4x10 combo which I put on top of a 15" JBL scoop bin. I ruled.
  21. Wish they would do a maple version on the 6.. I am totally sold by the white 6 jazz spec
