  2. I think it looks entirely terrible. It could sound fantastic, but I just couldn't rock up with that, unless we used a Currys van to drive to gigs.
  3. String spacing on the GL2500 Tribute is pretty tight - I had one years ago and I think it was 16.5mm.
  4. Absolutely - Iโ€™m all about the miniature and lightweight gear, but much of that gives plenty of cause for concern with dials and switches protruding from very droppable little boxes. Was lucky to find a suitable EVA case for the little TC head Iโ€™ve been using lately, which whilst not that tough is better than nowt. The best way of protecting this new offering would appear to be Calgon.
  5. So what should I do with my Future Impact V3? Paper weight? ๐Ÿ˜‰
  6. I had the "not so totaly insane" idea of having a small whiteboard for Keys / Progressions etc. And a big board with the running order is a very good idea! Fixed
  7. Unfortunately, when I took the back of to try this very thing .... it seems on this EV PA and apparently many current model PA's the backs of the Connectors are fully enclosed. I confirmed this with the Andertons Rep , as i was hoping to avoid dragging the thing down there . I fear it may be the whole amp module that they have to change to repair this issue ๐Ÿ˜

  10. Just bought a lovely set of black Knobs from Bob, super smooth transanction, thanks Bob...
  11. This sale is for an almost new Line 6 Helix LT. It was bought new by me in December 2025 direct from Yamaha music. It has only been used at home and is in virtually immaculate condition. The screen still has its protective film in place and the unit is in full working order. It is fully complete with power cable, USB cable, cheat cards/manual, Allen key, and all of the original packaging that it was delivered with. The glossy out cover is not included as it must have been removed by Yamaha music prior to posting. I am happy to post tracked and insured, with Royal Mail or you are welcome to collect from me in Leicester. UK sales only please and payment through eBay. Thanks for looking
  12. Hello, is this still available? DM incoming
  13. yes mate defo factory. I'm wondering if this is actually Frank Allen's bass. My band mate bought it from Frank about 35 years ago but he passed away a long time ago, so there isn't anyone to ask It has dot markers for every fret, which is annoying because it makes finding 3,5,7,12 etc quite hard
  14. Interesting idea - I'll have a think on how we could manage that. We have a sign-up sheet, of course, but that's not particularly clear to the people waiting.
  15. Bought on Reverb quite recently - gorgeous bass. Fender Jazz Bass JB75 reissue made in Japan, very good condition, some small marks around the body as showed in the pictures. Plays and sound flawless, comes with Daddario roundwound strings, fully setup and ready to play. With original Fender Tweed softcase. Would consider trades for another bass with cash my way (at least 500), and would prefer collection if possible
  16. A chalk board helps.. people can also see how long the queue us and where they are. Perhaps limit to two songs and promise a second shot if time?
  17. So the guitarist is a bit of a virtuoso then, that D at the end is a brilliant twist.
  18. Your Attention Please - The Scars (I still have this on gold flexi disc!)
  19. The sound quality sounds pretty good, very hifi and the stability of the polyphonic tracking is impressive. The lack of an arp funciton is a shame though for me personally given what it's capable of otherwise. The do an arp pedal called the Tararira which was what I was confusing with this pedal.
  20. Did you buy this one new? If not, wonder if itโ€™s my old one. I sold it maybe 4 years ago. Either way, theyโ€™re fantastic basses. Really sat well with a band and had such a lively tone, one of my favourite for slap. Also, has to be worn to be believed! Extremely comfortable basses!
  21. Today
  22. Price dropped to ยฃ60!
  23. Re-release version. Itโ€™s been used, so isnโ€™t pristine but works fine. Velcro on the base. No original box.

  24. Last night at the Chequers in Chipping Norton was rather busy. So were the two sessions before that. We're attracting a variety of players and also audience and it's getting to the point where it's hard to fit everyone and we're over-running or missing people out, or both. Not sure how to fix that. There was some good stuff played, though. Strangely, no drummers turn up; our chap has to play all night, but we usually get at least one other bassist and we had three guitarists last night. This is a jazz jam with a website which reminds people to bring charts for the band if they want to call something not in iReal, real books etc. But: Guitarist: <calls unfamiliar tune> Bassist: How does that go? G: It's in G. B: What sort of progression? G: It's a blues. B: Is it a standard 12-bar? G: No. B: What is it, then? G: It goes something like G G G G G G G D, I think. B: Do you have a chart? G: No. etc. etc.
