Sorry to hear about your shoulder problems. It just seems that once they are damaged they never get back to how they were. I bought the bass new in 2018 and had the body chambered to help with the weight due to my back problems but since then I ruptured my shoulder in a fall and had to have a reverse shoulder replacement. It makes playing 34" scale basses very difficult and painful. However this bass is a beautiful instrument and deserves to be played. Succumb to temptation!

I bought one of these a few weeks ago; fantastic bass. Wide but really comfortable neck, and a huge range of sounds. Absolutely love it, and recommend this. Best of luck with the sale.

Is it possible to run the bxr 400 into a single cab? I’m not trying to run both inputs. I just wanna know nothing is gonna blow if i just rig it up like you would any other bass head. One head one cab etc.

Made in Japan, well used with plenty of scratches (see photos). Plays and records really well. No whammy bar. I’ve used it for home recording and it sounds fine, good variety of sounds. Only my playing lets it down.

These seem to be getting a bit rarer but despite chasing one of these for years after selling my first i think i need to acknowledge my back needs some lighter weight gear. Here we have a USA made SVT III which preceded the current 3pro's. This one has the much famed SVT IIP preamp couples with a big old led sled solid state power amp. 3 x 12AX7's give it a nice throaty growl but there is no full on valve distortion here just a nice old school type roar. Is missing one slider cap but can still be changed with a plectrum - not that i use the graphic EQ anyway. A few of the pots could do with a blast of deoxit as the amp has been set at my fave EQ and never really changed. I dont have a rack case or anything so ideally its collection from Bolton only but could meet within reason. Possibly consider a part ex for an Ashdown Little Bastard/CTM30 Pics to follow asap

P.S - as you can see ive fitted a bridge cover. The thumbrocker thumb rest will be removed before sale and will leave no trace as this is a drop in mod. Very sunny here so anything other than the aforementioned dent will sun sun glare. More pics to follow once ive cleared space
