Now im stuck behind the keyboards i miss being able to do this, and while there are others that could, i wouldn't trust them to listen to anything other than themselves.

Hellzero started following Mark Kings Amp settings and EQ Jaydee tone nobs
-
Strangely, he was only using the bridge pickup with mids and treble quite high on the bass, and not that much bass there. The amp was quite the same. This allowed him to play slap and fingerstyle during the same "song" without bothering about the EQ.

Can’t be sure but it looks like a refinish to me, and unless I’ve missed it there isn’t a description , is there

Flightcase/cable trunk - relining.

We have a carpet shoppe in the village and they have a big Grundon bin out back. Will have a root around tomorrow. Might need to get some adhesive from them to justify the taking. -
EssexBuccaneer started following Soundchecks - are they professional?
-
We have one song that uses all our elements and also doesn’t appear in our regular set (that’s key to the soundcheck). It has vox, backing, all instruments and the drummer’s FX pad. We tell the audience we’re gonna have a quick sound check, play the intro, a verse, a chorus then end it. Then tell the audience we’ll be back in ‘x’ mins. I have a wander out front while we’re playing the verse to gauge everything then nip back on stage for BV in the chorus.

I back , I’ll go and set up for May and try making the certificates!

I think I would be more worried about catching septicemia playing that one!
-
Agreed, most likely a refinished sunburst.

Looking to see if anybody knows what 3 band EQ settings Mark used on his bass in the early 80s and his amp settings.

I have a suspicion that one of my latest creations will be looked at with approval by some on this thread who probably think this is the best use for a speaker cab (although I will point out that I did this after using the speakers to fix the cabs shown in my earlier post, so yes one 4x10 died, but two other broken cabs were revived!)
-
This was done on analogue desks - not too difficult to set up and you can always mute the channel and mix as normal if you want to so long as the desk has a couple options for buses/sub-mixes. I agree, however, on the convenience of savings things on digital desks, however we currently use one that needs to be rebooted every time a new programme is loaded before it will apply changes which is a bit irritating - I think it's a Yamaha something or other but I generally stay away from it!

catmanhog started following Pedaltrain Novo 24 TC
-
Hello, This is a Pedaltrain Novo 24, complete with tour case, which has a small dent and scuff acquired by a delivery driver, which you can see on the damage to the box. Otherwise, perfect condition with cable ties and tape. Would prefer collection or meet, can ship as i still have the box but would cost an extra £15 i reckon. Any questions welcome, thanks for looking. IMG_1597.MP4 IMG_1598.MP4 IMG_1596.MP4 IMG_1594.MP4 IMG_1592.MP4 IMG_1593.MP4 IMG_1591.MP4 IMG_1590.MP4 IMG_1589.MP4

Even though it doesn’t say it’s a Refin in the description, based on The Gallery’s previous/recent prices for similar pre-CBS refinished Precisions, I think it’s safe to say it is…

help with working out how much wattage i need!
Bill Fitzmaurice replied to sky's topic in Amps and Cabs
Watts aren't meaningless, but almost. Otherwise how do you explain the Ampeg B-15? 🤥 -
Oh yes 😊

What we used to call gear groupies. ☺️

Really? Wow.

Indeed, but the idea of Leo Fender was not really moding, but fixing an instrument by changing the problematic part with another faster than fast and not spending time on repair: a typical moto from the post war society and the consumerism.
