  1. Past hour
  2. The Edge in my U2 tribute has a Chibson explorer and a chickenbacker whick all look and play the part
  3. Good score Marty. I also am a Genz-Benz fan. I have the Streamliner 900 (upgraded via AgedHorse), Streamliner 600, Shuttle 9.2 (upgraded via AgedHorse), Shuttlemax 9.2 and have the 6.0 12T combo (that's also getting upgraded via AgedHorse). I'm thinking of selling the Shuttle 9.2 and possibly the Shuttle 6 and using the Streamliner 600 with the 12T. The Streamliner is the bees knees for me.
  4. I bought mine on a whim just to see what it was like. Right now it's my main instrument, and is the only bass I've played over the last 12 months.
  5. My two dream basses are already in my possession. My custom 1994 Warwick Fortress Masterman and my parts p-bass. 80's Barts, Lollar harness with treble bleed and wenge jazz neck.
  6. Yes please, can I have it?
  7. Today
  8. I bought one of these (plus the combo version) from @Raslee. Excellent bit of kit, does what it should, an easy one hand lift with the top handle.
  9. I managed multiple tier 2 infringments last year. But managed to stay the course for tier 1 completion. I fully expect to break tier 2 again. But tier 1 is a possibility NAMM depending.... Signing up.
  10. Really good instruments. Glwts
  11. Silly money. I run the 212 equivalent and it's a beast of the highest order. Glwts
  12. Brilliant preamp. Glwts
  13. Brilliant pedal. Glwts
  14. Great chorus - bargain too. Glwts
  15. Thank you for your advice. Everything starts from the preamp. I believe that I have it figured out and fixed. But, I won't know until I get home and get her back together again.
  16. There is a patch on the Mess called Onestring which is an arpeggiated sequence based on one note. Its pretty much what Ive been looking for. Just need to deep dive the editing process.
  17. Well spotted! Another one to add to my post over on the Hofner thread. Although, as we learnt over there, the rules say it doesn't count unless he's played one for the majority of his career.* (*by which reckoning I also have to stop associating Flea, Tim Commerford and Pino with Stingrays 🙄)
  18. Time out in the open generally helps. Tearing it apart and washing the materials may end poorly...
  19. I’ve managed to stop buying stuff simply because it was a great deal. Now I tend to msg a friend that might appreciate the deal. I’ve been called the expensive friend.
  20. So, do I have a mis-sold item that allows me to request a refund? Or an inexpensive, neat and tidy pedal board to which I can easily retrofit a midi device? Let me sleep on this question...
  21. It was due to a Christmas card from the drummer.
  22. Yup. Very, very unlikely to be a MIDI pedalboard. Just a typical brand-specific or semi-brand-specific pedal set. Those came with a wide variety of plugs and systems, though I don't remember the specifics. One of mine for example had a 27 pin connector.
  23. Yep - the EMG circuits are comparable to how analog mixers work: buffer / boost weak signals first, then you can mix them with less noise, degradation or signal interaction. The EMG pots are 25kΩ, vs. the 250-500 kΩ used in passive circuits.
