  2. A couple of changes to my home/desk practice setup: Dedicated tuner allows me 5x separate effects readily available on the HX Stomp. The Element then acts as my Bluetooth/Headphone interface for practicing and learning tunes, as well as a DI/Cab sim for FOH if I gigged it. Can’t reach the amp out from the Element in this layout (because it’s placed in a silly place, but I can just take the amp out from the HX Stomp anyway, so I’m sorted. Si
  3. This one is for a close friend of mine, he offered it to me but I said I'd just sell it for him and pass it on. Great condition, just a little dusty because it's been sat in a house for a long time and not out on the road. I guess everyone knows these; a great compact 410 that's plenty for gigging and is comparatively light and easier to schlep than most 410s (it's pretty much 2ft x 2ft x 19"). I had one of these for a couple of years and if it hadn't been stolen (not this exact one, obv) I might well still have it. FWIW it's one of the earlier Made In Italy ones, rather than the later Indonesian builds. I note they're around the £650 mark new, and this one's had very little strenuous use, so I think £300 firm is right, given the logistics below... Logistically I can meet up/deliver within a 75 mile radius of Manchester, I'd much rather do this than ship.
  4. So can't they turn the noise gate down?
  5. Thanks for the message I’ve left my mobile as a message but just incase it’s 07956 424321 👍🏽
  6. I scored a neck on Amazon and got some discount for... reasons, meaning it was less than £40 posted. It arrived yesterday and it's... surprisingly good. No ratty fret ends, truss rod works, it's a bass neck. LOL, what's going on with that stripey skunk stripe? I like it! Also over the weekend, I made a new cavity cover (or at least a template for one) Made by hand only with hand saw, surform and sandpaper. Took a while, but it fits pretty well - better than some factory made basses I've seen in my time.
  7. The bit with no red under the pickguard isn't faded, the red never used to be sprayed in that area as it wouldn't be seen.

  9. It's EASY! I have one ready to ship right now (the very one from the demo video), you tell me your address, pay me, and I'll send it to you! 😁 I have tested it for days and days, works perfectly!
  10. It's actually got one 😁 it used to be higher. I will edit this into the description, good point.
  11. Cheers Alex.... 👍
  12. Lovely looking bass there Graham.
  13. Exactly what I thought. She may of well played a guitar through the amp instead of a bass ! That titting about on the fretboard doesn’t show an amp off for bass
  14. Today
  15. Tea in the Sahara - The Police
  16. This was on my board for a few years, never let me down but just fancied a change so I’ve got a boss chorus on the board now. The toneprint options make it a pretty versatile pedal, found myself mostly using the Duff McKagan toneprint. No original box for this unfortunately but will be packaged securely. Price includes postage in the UK, cheers
  17. No criticism of the playing except, it was all on the higher strings of a 6 string. Hardly pushing a bass amp.
  18. One word: Wagner!
  19. I can confirm this. The Enzo X was a missed opportunity for them to actually take some of the bass market; which is admittedly minuscule compared to the guitar market but…

  21. "Gatekeeper" is a nice word, it makes me smile because it's exactly what I feel when I'm talking about my double bass journey. There actually are "gatekeepers", they have never bothered me since I've never seen gates.
  22. Here's a pic of mine, just because it looks cool 😎
  23. As a bassist there is nothing more destructive to a band's sound than a drummer who overplays. Sadly we have probably all encountered them! There seems to be an obsession now on chops over more traditional (useful) skills such as time, feel and dynamic. I try to think of the patterns I play as being inextricably linked to the drums, which means that I am conscious of not falling into the same trap of overplaying. It's a tough one.
  24. Appreciate the response, looking more into the Morningstar UI and it seems fairly straight forward. Thanks for the help as always
