  1. Past hour
  2. Nice little Behringer in-Line Mixer with power supply. Bought for a project but only used a couple of times. Price includes UK Postage.
  3. I volunteer for a local charity shop, I PAT and repair the electrical items and sort out any musical instruments that get donated, and we had this come in recently. The truss rod cover say Edge and it looks right, but none of the examples I can find on the web quite match up. Either the headsock logo is different, or they are single PU models or active. This one is passive. I've looked at a couple of Dean serial number reference sites but nothing comes out for this one. The reason I'm trying so hard to get a difinitve model is so I can price it. Prices for Dean's vary so much and as it's to raise money for the charity it needs to be priced right. Any advice is much welcomed. Just to confirm, this is NOT for sale here. It will be sold by the charity either out of the charity shop or on their eBay site.
  4. Geek Stink Breath - Green Day
  5. Breathe. You'll work it out. They're excellent basses. My tastes are so broad with colours, finishes, neck carves, etc that if my #1 priority was low price, colour wouldn't matter. It's not like any of the colours of the Space basses are horrible. I'd be happy with any of them.
  6. Ok Alan , worth the trek so if you change your mind drop me a message and i forgot to say i have a case thanks
  7. Garlic Bread — Gary & Larry
  8. Ah yes - I see it - just on the arm carve - nothing too major. Also does it come with the case? When are you back in the country?
  9. Thanks. Glad you read the credits too. I’m both Hardliegh Worthit & Cardigan Fitzbadley. As well as Hue Manfactors of course. The rest of The Roster made their own pseudonyms. All fine players.
  10. Great basses. This one looks really cool too. GLWTS.
  11. This was the thread about the rehearsal room Ashdown that also surprised me
  12. Our Saturday holiday gig was cancelled. So, no gigs this weekend. I guess the venue doubled booked. I'll never understand how that happens. Daryl
  13. I am in the process of making all my bass collection headless only . I have been mulling over whether to get a 5 string ( mainly due to the low b) . I was thinking about getting something more expensive next year , but as I’m just messing around at home it’s probably a bit overkill to do so. This brings me to the topic above . I noticed that for some reason, the black version of the space 5 is cheaper than the green one and I haven’t a clue why that is . Not only that , the average price seems to be around the £ 749 mark . The prices are from Bassdirect ,and gear4music among others. A couple of days ago , the green one was going for £649 on Gear4music and I should’ve snapped it up ! But tomorrow is Black Friday 😮‍💨! This evening on the G4M website , the black one is £658 ( the cheapest I’ve seen so far) while the green one is £749 . I just sent a message to G4M asking why the black one is cheaper. I’m not sure what to expect , but I’m a big fan of theirs . If they let me have the green one for £658 then I’ll take it! If it’s £675 I’ll probably do so . I guess that hey are popular, and I’ll probably not get a better deal than that at this present time . Your thoughts??
  14. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  15. We use Berkley in Glasgow and it`s usually an EBS head and Ampeg 8 x 10 and to be honest most of them sound crap. They used to have ABM heads but they never seem to be in the room we are using. But there is 13 or 14 rooms so maybe they are in there somewhere...
  16. I'm going to see Morrissey perform tonight in Nuneaton, just popping into Wetherspoons for a bite to eat first.
  17. It could indeed be dirt. This video suggested that I can take the keyboard apart, and clean it. However, I am not sure that I have the courage to try it, yet.

    Neural Quad Cortex

Always a good sign! I think that's the setting I like as well, so I'll hunt out that one, ta! I like the idea of having a compressor block that doesn't have any of the variables available to adjust, so I can't be tempted to mess with it. So if it works, brilliant stuff!
  19. @dmccombe7 you have, but thanks for taking the time to say so again. Very lucky to have chanced on a band with some very talented individuals, plus two of them can mix audio and make my bass actually sound like the tone I've got in my head.
  20. Today
  21. Those Boba Fuzz pedals are fantastic, it's a 1:1 clone of the Zvex Mammoth with an added mids control on the Body dial. Looks like Vinnie's knocked his eBay shop on the head as well so there's no new ones available
  22. Yes it is, I am based near Wembley, London. I am abroad currently so I cant take a picture but the nick is visible in the first picture to the left of the bridge pick up at the edge of the body. I can take a close up when I am back if you are still interested.
  23. I was with you until your Wetherspoons example. That foods not worthy of seagulls.
  24. Great Bassline I like that one, nice job
  25. Ah, sadly far fom me.
