Its a great sound, nothing like a Thumb tone but, other than shape, it has nothing whatsoever in common with a Thumb BO! Lightweight and lovely to play. Need to replace the horrible plastic just a nut II (what were Warwick thinking with that design?!) and get some Prosteels on her. I'll get some decent photos up soon :)

Well, as I've gone crawling back to Warwick for my main workhorse, I may as well update here!

'96 Streamer Bolt On (pre LX), previously owned by Sambucadan on here.

That is beautiful. Think I need to update my collection on this thread. Maybe tomorrow.

It's lovely, currently in dock having some wiring done (I'm not paying £150 for a new volume pot on a board, so as the board is only there to direct the wires to various places, I have a very good electrical specialist on the case of wiring just a new pot in). It's a bit good to be using as my backup / pub bass. It'll be going on it's travels with me though as the second bass to my SS1 :) (provided the airliners don't break it!)

My new Warwick custom shop Infinity buckeye burl that I have bought off of a guy in the US arrived today. I love it.

Going off for a service tonight (as hasn't been played in a while and is a bit dirty and in need of a good setup) but will post more pics when it is back and in working order. :)

Nothing new really, but gave the SSI a fretpolish, oiled the 'board and gave the body a quick clean / polish. Looks good!

Is that the one that was in the FS section here? It is quite possibly the best looking Streamer I've ever seen, absolutely stunning!

My Bleached Blonde which has now sold twice and had both buyers change their mind and buy something else.
Think it's destined to stay with me

I used to have this one:

I bought it after my back surgery; I couldn't play anything heavier than this back then...

It sure is :) Used to belong to Kev. Absolutely amazing bass, and it no longer bothers my shoulder :D All it needs is a Hipshot on the E (apparently it's a tricky fit so I'll have to do some tweaks!), and it'll be the perfect bass :) It turns heads everywhere I take it... very much like the Wal it replaced!

Congrats man, it is absolutely beautiful! I know Warwick get some grief on here for their pricing etc but to me that is as nice as any boutique bass I've seen, and if the build quality, fit and finish of other German Warwick's I've played are anything to go by then it will no doubt be a superb instrument.

Cheers bud, it's absolutely spot on. I much prefer it to the Wal it replaced, which says a lot. I never thought I'd let that bass go.

The only bass I love more is my friends pre EB '76 Stingray. Looks like it's been hit like a bus, but the way it feels and sounds is spot on - like an old pair of slippers! Sadly they never did it as a 5 :( It's still on the future shopping list though!
