SteveXFR Posted yesterday at 16:10 Posted yesterday at 16:10 Celebrities who are famous for being famous and nothing else. Ive had the misfortune of meeting a few and my daughter met several when she worked in a posh restaurant. What a bunch of entitled butt holes. They expect everyone to know them and worship their talentless, cosmeticaly enhanced air headed wonder. 3 Quote

Think of them a bit like a gen Z version of Joseph Goebbels only with somewhat more inclusive agenda. 3 Quote
Lozz196 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago My Mums friends granddaughter does this, she gets sent let’s say a coffee machine and has to extol its virtues on various social media forums, essentially influencing peoples minds/choices. Gets paid a staggering amount to do it as well. 1 1 Quote

You have to disclose if you're being paid to shill something. Other social media sites either have looser policies or don't enforce the ones they do have. Both my wife (who's into witchy stuff) and her sister (who's a piercer) have been approached multiple times for sponsored posts by companies and said no every time. We do have a friend (a female warhammer player) who started saying yes to offers. Oh to be a gorgeous goth woman like those three. Meanwhile I'd happily lie about anything for 50p but as an ugly bloke my options for 'collabs' (shudder) are somewhat more limited. I'm joking, as business owners they work really hard and are at the top of their games, they deserve all the success they are getting. God knows we're not retiring on my salary. I’m in the wrong business all I need now is to become female, young and passably pretty with at least average presentational skills and I’ve got it made 💰 Quote

Ian isn't on the spector featured artists lists (I notice that guy pratt is, and I have only seen him once play a spector, its normally his pink fender). Scott has a signature overwater. Also both of them are already working for his company and it is quite clear they are working for that. Quote

Ian did a series of videos promoting Spectors and then did a few videos about Spector players for SBL and spent quite a bit of time talking about how amazing the Spector tone is. Scott regularly talks about how amazing Fenders are, especially precision basses. Quote
