asingardenof Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) For those aware of the saga relating to my car, at a hearing in July to discuss setting the judgment I'd obtained aside, it turned out the dealership may not have been getting their post so their defence was reinstated, and we were firmly encouraged by the judge to try and sort it ourselves before coming back to court. The dealer's director collared me after the hearing to say he'd call me to discuss a settlement, but after nearly two months, and an email and two voice messages from me that haven't been responded to, I've still not heard a dicky bird from them. So I'll be down another £180-odd for the trial fee and off to court we go again in October. Edited 4 hours ago by asingardenof Quote

I have a couple of fairly simple things that need sorting that rely on other companies and their woeful customer service. One of which involves money owed and the other retirement planning. In one case 10 months have passed without resolution, the other getting on for two months. The legwork and staggering incompetence involved is depressing. Thankfully I have a little time and am not financially strapped or the impact would be far worse. I feel your pain. Customer service is a race to the bottom in the UK. Happy to take your cash but very slow to provide any service and getting cash back from them …. Quote

The only places I would now be considered middle-aged are a care home and an Anglican Church congregation. 😂 1 Quote
