As above, don't know if its been mentioned before.

Just got a twin pack for 22 quid. Seems good value, gigged them last night and they sounded great.

Some very variable reviews on Amazon ... are these strings actually suitable for 34" scale basses?

Like I said, I gigged them over the weekend and they sounded good.

Came in properly sealed bags as well so I'd say they're legit.

I've used this offer a few times before. The only issue with the 34" scale is that if you string through the body, then the E string might not be quite long enough for some basses. No problems if you string through the bridge, or if you get the XL set.

Guessing people buy them, add the players points then return, rinse then repeat.

Seems slightly odd that long scale length is a custom set with a slightly heavier E. if you want standard long scale lights, the price goes up to £33 for a 2-pack.

I bought a three set pack of 'd'addario' acoustic guitar strings from ebay a while back. They all had the same code number and were obviously fake when I compare the pagaging to a real set.

The packaging on these looked spot on. I complained, eBay refunded me, but seems odd really to fake strings, they have actually seemed just like normal strings, if they are fake they are pretty good.

The ones I got were generic chinese junk. The packaging said they were phosphor bronze, but they were actually bronze/brass.

This is the bit which makes me chill about these strings from Amazon versus ones off eBay...

 

 

No third party involvement - so Amazon take full responsibility if something is wrong.  I genuinely believe this decidedly bonkers price is a result of massive buying power.  Call me naive if you like.
