Another reunion with our original drummer from our first band. Street parties always fill me with terror but this one was quite good last time, so I hope the Wicker Man reference doesn't upset anyone.

This is a double header gig with one of my current bands and a band I used to play in! Doing it for "charidy man" so hope to get as full a house as we can 👍 It takes place at The Blue Lamp, Aberdeen which for a 130 capacity venue way north of most of civilisation punches above its weight. Full Nexo / A&H PA and it won the "Best Venue" award in 2023 from the Parlimentary Jazz Awards for the UK!! Link

A busy day for me on Sunday; set off from the North East 07:00 to get to Newark for a 12:00 festival gig, then across to Preston for an evening gig... then back home for maybe 01:00 on Monday.

Anyways, we're playing our first Southampton gig next Sunday for the Music In The City festival. Loads of artists playing across the city over 2 days including the Sunday when Saints play Pompey at St Mary's...luckily we're under St Michael's church when we play 👍🏻

 

Looking forward to this one, haven't played in Southampton for over 10 years, my old band used to play all those lovely venues around the city that liked original music...those were the days eh? 😄

Due to low ticket sales and reduced fees for all concerned, this gig is now cancelled. Can’t say that I’m too sad about it. That’s me for the year now, unless something else comes in.

tickets have been duly sourced , not sure who will be joining me yet but I’ve bought 3 . I can’t get a definitive from mouse, killer or koski, I know koski’s sister has a ticket aswell mind .

I think that was on Brook street opposite the Catholic club , the Caspian is on Boughton just along from the Church.

 

if I had kept any receipts it might have had the shop address on them 🙄
