The Hives in London, a band I've always wanted to see live but somehow not managed so far.....not the best seats but judging by some YT vids of this tour it should be an electric atmosphere.

Could that be the same Dawn After Dark who used to support Balaam And The Angel? I caught them in the aptly named After Dark Club in Reading many years ago....great gig. I'm sure I have some pics somewhere.

Used Bax for the first time, lucky to find the item in stock as everywhere else I'd tried had no idea when they could get it. It was also the cheapest. Delivered by Parcel Force two days later in perfect condition. Can't say I'd heard of them before but will be the first place I look next time.

The gamble paid off....Just to confirm the Epiphone EB-3 Long Scale case is a great fit for my '73 short scale.

I've gone for the Epiphone EB-3 Case and my EB-3 is short scale, so I'm hoping It'll be fine....I'll find out in a few days....fingers crossed.

Does anyone know if I can gat a new case for my eb3...I see on the Gibson site there is one but are the latest eb3's the same fit, or the Epiphone one?

on some dodgy bathroom scales 4.4kg so yeah its got some weight for the size, can't say I'd noticed but I usually play a Yam BB2000.

I've always wanted one and was lucky enough to get this a few days ago. Gunna have to start learning some Free but have been having a go at reggae today, not something I usually play. Straight into a Marshall in GarageBand and I think it sounds pretty good. Got band practice this coming Saturday afternoon and can't wait to see how it sounds through my LM3 into two Barefaced One10's.

I bought Dave's Eb3, I mentioned I liked a bit of Free and Dave gave me some pointers on how I may go about attempting to achieve that Andy Fraser sound. As said by others here, great communication all the way through and a really nice bloke. I would highly recommend.
