1.
I only ask because we're opening for Morland & Arbuckle a national act that does that Delta and Mississippi Hill Country blues stuff this weekend. I noticed they have a gig coming up at the Great British Rock and Blues Festival in Skegness, UK. Should be a fun gig, sound, lights and back line provided. We only have to play an hour set. I'll be home early for a change. Blue
i caught M&A live a couple of years ago in Newbury, well worth hanging around for their set, so ya may not get back so early;o)

 3. In the 80's i struggled to carry my TNT150 to the car. In the 90's i struggled to carry my DB-700 to the car. Now i struggle with a One10, mb amp, guitar in hard case and mic stand between my teeth....i'm no wimp;0)
 4. 18 of 'em through 5 bands over 27 years. never been keen on Quo or the later KOL stuff but they are floor fillers and that's what i'm paid to do.
 5. Yamaha BB2000 bought new in 1980's, still gig it, still love it, never sell it.

 7. so impressed with what i've heard and seen...have you given The Pretty Things Are Going To Hell a thought?
 8. Could someone tell me if it's ok to play acoustic bass through one of these amps? I have emailed Fishman support but wondered if i could get an answer on here quicker. Whilst at rehearsal last night we decided to play acoustic guitar and a vocal through a loudbox just to hear how it was. I'm so impressed with it I thought I may get one just to sing through instead of using a pa for small pub gigs but wonder if it could also handle bass as a back up. We only go out as an duo so volume is not a problem. Thanks.

 13. i listen using an iPod with some quality headphones or buds most of the time but when the family are out i fire up the hifi and listen to cd's or stream to it. music is my drug, well one of them anyway.
 14. I have four, all used regularly. Yam and Fender for gigging. Junkyard for recording and an acoustic which lives in the corner of a bedroom always available for when I hear something I wanna pick out.

 17. I'd try listening to any other recording and see if the buds give you the same result. If so it points to the buds if not the recording. Usually using buds, bass can increase or decrease depending how far you push then into your ear.

 19.
Get your bridge checked, you probably have a burr or two there which is catching the windings. Get some micro-files and get the bridge smooth again. Or get a roller bridge, I can recommend those!
i'm sure it's down to my awful playing technique, i play mainly with my thumb pulling away from the body. i don't ping strings all the time but when you get comments from guitarist's stating,"i've never seen a bass player snap a string before" you start to wonder what's up. Different strings on different basses except my acoustic. So I always take two and so far never needed to take three...but you never know.
 20.
I started playing electric bass guitar in 1966. I've yet to break a single string. I thought string breaking was for guitarist. Blue
C'mon Blue you're not trying hard enough ;o)
 21. i always take 2 to a gig because i'm an expert at breaking a string.
