  1. Can anyone tell me if I can use the pictured boss adapter with a bassrig. OE suggest only using a regulated power supply and I have no idea what this is. I use a voodoo lab ISO 5 to power my board but I may want to run one of my bassrigs on its own. The adapter is 9v and 500mA and I think the bassrigs current draw is 150mA
  2. Just bought Ian's OE Bassrig Super Vintage. Arrived in perfect condition within two days. Great communication throughout. Buy with confidence. Many thanks.
  3. Clint....that's the sort of information I need to hunt one down....my misses won't thank you, but I do.
  4. Can anyone point me in the direction of Father John Misty's performance...I've been on the look out all over the place and can't find anything.

  11. god I just love the look of this one...somebody tell me they sound awful, are too heavy, neck dive or are hard to find and save me the hassle of looking....please.
  12. anyone know which Gibson Alanis Morrissette's bassist is playing?
  13. Wunderhorse, Cheese and Grain in Frome....excellent as always and pretty good venue. You can't argue with free parking. The first time I've seen them with the new bassist....he fits right in.
  14. Thanks Dave...I think you called it some time back but I was genuinely surprised when they asked me to join. As for the Barefaced gear, the 10's really suit the numbers we play in this band and I'm sure you can imagine an eb3 through them (may not be everyones cup of tea but I love it) I play a Squier pj mainly in my originals band with a Jive pedal. A different sound altogether and something I'm still getting used to.
  15. First two gigs last weekend with the new band I'd been helping out and have now joined. Saturday evening in Newbury and Sunday afternoon at a beer fest near Andover. Really enjoyed both, 2 x 1hr sets in Newbury, good crowd but not packed. I played pretty well and could hear everything. Played when required at the beer fest as it was a multi band thing where the players mixed about...loved my first attempt at "hey Jude" with most of us playing together and I tried some Overton Berry Trio lines. Thumpinator, comp, bass rig black panel, Barefaced 2x One10 stack for both.
  16. Second practice with covers band I'm depping for went ok but I struggled a bit with some numbers, still not great at Love Her Madly and totally lost it in While My guitar Gently Weeps but also some success with a Moody Blues number The Story In Your Eyes. No keyboard player this time but hopefully get another practice the full band before the gig. Used my eb3 again as I thought it sounded pretty good at last one and I love it. Bit of vid if anyones interested. I love watching clips whenever anyone posts.
  17. I'm just off to google Fanny now....
  18. I have heard people say they've cut the silk back with a scalpel...may be an option.
  19. So may find this interesting
