I was seriously interested in the Elf due to how small it was when it was first announced. This endless postponing by Trace is what amuses me. I feel sorry for you squire. TE are being morons with this and I've have had my money back long ago. Plus, you do realise that the longer this drags on the greater the likelihood that the amp will be total underpowered crap making you wonder why you ordered it in the first place? The ELF saga is bad but the Cirrus tale is worse January 2016 they annouce the Cirrus re-issue,I contact B&M but they can't tell me anything. Sweetwater start taking pre-orders in Feb 2017. Again B&M have no info so I contact SW,they can't ship to the UK.Dealer protection rules. There's been a few on American eBay and last week I contact a seller. This is where it gets bloody stupid. I ask about the fretboard,SW have it as Pau Ferro. The seller has copy/paste the blurb from the Peavey website which states a rosewood fretboard. In fact the specs for every model say a rosewood board and no paperwork regarding CITES. Yes folks 1 month after the ruling on rosewood Peavey goes ahead with rosewood board basses. Mike Brown at Peavey CS just sent me an email saying yes they're rosewood but the CITES paperwork is included with each bass. Indonesia asked for an abstention until July this year if I mind right. To be honest, I think I would have lost interest by now and spent my money elsewhere. Maybe when the 500w version lands (ha) I may reignite what little interest I have left. I asked whether there is anybody I can discuss this with, Receptionist says Managing Director is available in an hour, please ring back. However the 16th is a Saturday, B&M are closed on Saturdays but he hopes that they will be shipping to stockists/retailers on either the 15th or 18th.[/color] [color=#000000] Even with the over-sale he assures me that Bass Direct. who I have ordered from, should receive their allotted order and that he hopes that I will be one of the first to receive my order. [/color] [color=#000000] We discussed the possibility of a discount, however Brian was unwilling to offer me any form of concession as a result of the 6 month delay since payment (I paid BD on 7/3/17) and advised me to discuss this with BD directly. Of course, a full refund would be totally appropriate if you decided you were not prepared to wait any longer. But if you still want the amp then that's no use.
