I think some of my least favourite headstocks are the ones where the designers were trying to make them look like the Fender outline, but slightly changed it [i]a bit[/i]. Not quite enough to look like the idea was ever any more than a sketch before it went to production.

I've had a slow burn for a 20/20 for a while now. I think Gibson only made about 150.

I know they look and play great and all....but you can kayak with the neck.
Looks better in the photo than reality too

That looks like one of the blanks for a d.i.y. neck. It's a very half arsed bit of design. Edited by MoonBassAlpha

You probably won't want to see the Strat / 6-string bass doubleneck they did then... :o

I agree about the headstock but that brass inlay looks a bit special. I tried inlaying with resin bonded "gold" metallic dust once. Never again.

Now I've got a bass from this lot myself and it's really good. But I have to say these gumby looking things on the end of the necks aren't pretty. Especially as a 5er
