I put this massive board together out of all of the bits I actually use during an average rehearsal. Covers everything I need.

I've got it set up so in A/B mode it swaps between a slightly driven SVT and a very distorted SVT. Then for stomp box mode I've got it loaded with a Darkglass Microtubes capture and a Sansamp Bass Driver capture, and I'll test those two captures out and go with whatever I prefer on the day.

My setup doesn't need to be any more complex than that.

Tidy but I’d be afraid of losing it down the back of the car seat.

Just picked up the Joyo Flanger from BC.

Now I only need the Pipe Bomb compressor and the Ocho octave pedal to complete the set.

Shame they don't do an LS2 clone but I have no idea how they could bring that off in such a tiny form.

Wonderful pedals the Ironman series. Really good quality sounds, superb construction and a great design.

We're missing a guitarist for a little while, but got offered a gig that we didn't want to turn down so decided to fly missing-man. We've done it before and it's generally been fine but I've definitely felt the lack of the rhythm guitar during the lead solo sections, so wanted to try and 'thicken' the bass tone a bit this time. I had an unused corner of one of my boards so decided to try a cheap octave-up, and am happy to report that it's actually doing what I hoped it might. Placing it after a bit of gentle overdrive seems to have brought the whole sound together and gives a suggestion of extra guitar without making the bass sound too iffy on its own, meaning I should be able to just leave it on.

Nice fix to being a bandmate down! Almost the equivalent of having an 8 string bass to hand without having to master 8 string bass technique - which is defo trickier than a guitarist switching to a 12 string!

this needs a tidy up but sort of getting there

the Vitoos PSU was a great buy , the Walrus Tuner is good and the Free The Tone pedals really are the busiIMG_1384.thumb.jpeg.0d5a92d01d34519e22879ea123942910.jpegness

Built this last night and slept late just playing it. Sounds glorious! MXR bass synth in the fx loop. Using a Mono Lite Pedal board

Always regretted selling my Fuzzmo years ago. Just got one today from our parish.

Damn it's as beautiful sounding as I remember.

My work here is done - for now.  Having considered putting an HX Stomp on my board I finally opted for an HX One on the basis that I rarely use effects and then only one at a time. Also swapped out the Mooer baby tuner for a Boss TU-2.  It all runs from a battery.

Do you have any problems with noise? I often find that using a digital pedal on that same supply as analogue pedals can induce noise on the power lines.

Not had a chance to check it out fully yet but I'll report back if anything untoward occurs.

I have had real trouble with a TC Mic Mechanic alongside a Zoom B2 Four, On the same power lines there is a high pitched wine (Chateau Neuf Du Pape?).

I had the same problem with the B1 Four and the Mic Mechanic. I must get the 'scope out and see whether the Mic Mechanic puts noise  the powerline.

So decision made, I’ve gone for simplicity. My doubling gig has become a full on acoustic gig (with PA support of course) so I’ve decided to go with two boards as the combined board was starting to look like I might be over compensating for something.

This will be the electric bass board and has only what I need to make my beautiful basses sound more beautiful.
The Capo and the Empress are recent purchases but boy are they good/worth the money in my book.

So this board saved our gig on Sunday when my Ashdown Head of Doom decided it had retired along with Black Sabbath. I’m really getting to grips with the Capo now, for me, the secret is in the blend control 😎
