JellyKnees
Another +1 for Tina Weymouth...not particularly fancy or technical but always very good at playing the right notes in the right places...which is much more important IMHO

Ian Savage
Sean Ysuelt (ex-White Zombie) takes me back to my formative years, great bass playing and I had a major teenage crush on her too weird when you find out your teenage crushes are now in their mid-late 40s, though
dangerboy
I'm not allowed to answer this question, so will instead post a tune by my favourite two-girl, two-double bass band. bassbluestew
Gail Ann Dorsey for me every time. Don't know why but I don't want to like Carol Kaye.........every interview I have read she seems to want to trash JJ, or it could easily be I'm being oversensitive and reading it like that. But we don't want to open THAT pperticular can of worms again. Anyway GAD, is talented and IMO extremely hot, though I was told ( and it could be someone trying to calm me down ) that she drinks from the furry cup. Her first solo album is magical, nice voice too. S

Her claims to JJ's lines are annoying and totally protracted now but 99.9% of people know she's talking out her arse. Not that she needs more limelight anyway, she played on Pet Sounds for god's sake!
Wil
I reckon Carol Kaye and James Jamerson are the same person. Think about it, you never see them both in the same room at once, do you?
