Continue on the A1096 for 1.5 miles going straight on over 3 roundabouts until you see the Silvaco building.

Turn left at the Silvaco roundabout onto the A1123.

The hire of the hall is £200 for the whole day which is great! - The venue requires payment up front - We therefore need twenty people (or more) to pay the £10 entrance fee up in advance, so that we can have the building. I'm definitely paying in advance, as I think the Bash is going to be a great success.

Person to rececive the cash to be arranged. In the meantime, if you are happy to pay in advance, PLEASE add your name to the list at the end of the thread.

I am hoping that we are going to get lots of you coming along - so any proceeds left after the venue has been paid for, will go to the following charity:

Old post for info:

A small discussion has started in a thread about having an East Anglia Bass Bash.

(here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;#entry939960)

I'm just posting here to get an idea about who may be interested and to continue the discussion. I know what a b@ll@che it is to get out of Norwich and am sure there are plenty of Bass Players who have turned down some of the other bashes because they are further afield.

We have some good resources nearby and am wondering if Cambridge might be a good place to host? Just a few ideas - lemme know your thoughts.

I'm looking forward to the next BIG bash as well - I'll certainly be attending, if I can!

Cambs would be great for me although I don't know of a venue that would accommodate us. But then again I have never had to sort something of this size before.

Count me in! I'll bring along my pbass and school. Maybe my amps too :)

Yes, me too.

I've thought about running one in Ipswich : my son's school has a great setup very similar to the one that silverfoxnik used for the last SE Bass Bash but I don't know what it would cost. I can find out if you like: one advantage is that the head of music is a bass player and thoroughly nice chap too.

Failing that, I have a slight preference for Cambridge over Narrdge - it takes about the same length of time to get there from here, but Naarrdge seems to take a lot longer!
