1. Had what was practically the twin of this on extended loan to me a few years ago. Eventually letting it go was very, very difficult. I liked it so much I went out and bought an '82 JV P straight away. Make no mistake, these are a truly outstanding instruments in every way. Also, he certainly doesn't need me to vouch for him but I've known Higgie for years and he is an excellent chap to deal with.
2. A bit more hassle but if have you considered splitting them up and offering to courier?

4. Just seen this. Don't know if it's been suggested but I understand the Voodoo labs sparkle drive is a TS clone with a blend already built in. It's a guitar pedal but the blend should allow you to dial in your original signal to retain lows. Bass specific, you have the fulltone bass drive which I also understand it a TS clone. No blend but being a specific bass pedal, one could assume it retains most of the lows. I believe Nate Mendel from Foo Fighters is a fan of these. YMMV.
5. £150 delivered (trade for 5 string, cash either way) Bought this a few months ago on eBay as an ex-demo. I wanted to try out a Musicman style bass to see if I liked it, without too much outlay. I knew this one wouldn't be too heavy and I was right. Not sure exactly how much it weighs but it's about 8 1/2 lbs at a guess. Well, I'm hooked! It sounds great and is great to play. Had some sharp fret edges but had these sorted out. I want to trade up to a higher level instrument of the same style. Can't be any heavier than this bass. The Good Sounds amazing. Aggressive but can be toned down by turning down input gain on amp. Wilkinson hardware, including pickup. Relatively light because of the poplar body. Beautiful wood grain on maple fretboard. The Bad Tiny crack in finish where neck meets body. Invisible from the front. Tuner on D string a bit stubborn but works.
6. Happy to answer any questions about it. GLWTS
7. Bought my clone Wooly Mammoth. Smooth transaction, thanks.
8. Bought my clone blueberry OD. Smooth transaction, thanks.
9.
I do wonder if Alex was responding to the market with this range of cabs - if you spend years trying to persuade bassists they don't need a 4x10" and they still want a 4x10", it seems like good business sense to recognise that and come up with a better 4x10 instead!
Kinda like wot I sed but more better, ya get me?
10. Has anyone mentioned how bloody awkward 4x10 are to transport? My tech soundsystems gets round this by staggering the speakers. Surprised BF didn't do this, but I guess the design would put some people off.
11. Nice write up. I'd be interested to see how it persorms with a different (better?) Set of preamp valves.
12. Bump for price drop. £30 including delivery.
13. Got some Fuzzdog kit clone pedals for sale. Very high quality components built by a professional electrician (i.e. not me). One of them has velcro on bottom, the other doesn't. The backs are interchangeable, so whoever want the velcro first, gets it. Neither of these enclosures can fit a battery, must be powered by an adaptor. I have the 'horizontal' enclosure for the wooly mammoth that will fit a battery, Will include this (no good to me after this has gone). The Blueberry is probably the most versatile and best general purpose OD I've used. It's almost new and has a clear plastic cover on top, with protects the funny picture and will stop it getting too dirty. The wooly mammoth is an absolute monster. Nuff said. As you can see, I used it for a while. 14. TTT. I added quality removable castors to this to make it even easier to transport, as if it wasn't easy enough already. As you can tell, not in a rush to sell this but chuck me over an offer or a trade.
15. Can highly recommend these. Only compressor I've ever used that is effective in a live environment and doesn't kill my tone.
16. Bought my EHX bass soulfood. No messing about, quick payment and good comms. Thanks.
17. Arrghh! No cash or would buy this. If only my Ampeg preamp would sell.
