1. Bought is Markbass Classic 106. Killer cab, sounds great. He kindly agree to deliver it to me to and packaged it superbly. Thanks a lot.
 2. PM'd
 3. Beautiful bass. Swamp ash can be light but often it's heavy. Any idea of weight? Also, what's the nut width? Looks to be more precision than jazz, is that right?
 4. So you're the one who's been hoarding every JV Precision still in existence all these years!
 5. This is all good news but would really need to know how much this particular bass weighs. More than one person seems to have been definite about wanting it, though so I doubt if it's still available.
 6. Let me be the first to ask: "What's the weight?" Ooooh, me poor back!
 7. That Roland combo was my main gigging amp for a few years until it died (the amp section, that is). The modelling was my bugbear too. I now have a Fender Rumble 500 combo (v3). It doesn't have the wheels that the Roland has but doesn't need them, as it's much lighter to carry (one hand carry) and easier to get through doorways (if holding it in front of you) because it's narrow. However, it's not as 'loud' as the Roland on it's own. I always use the extension cab that makes it a stacked 4x10 with offset drivers and higher up, so it's more audible and louder than the Roland on its own. More trips to the car but easier trips. The other good point it that although it also has a class 'D' power section and the preamp is solid state one, it has a nice, warm 'organic' tone to it, which I much prefer. Hope these observations help.
 8. Few questions: What's the weight of the SUB? Does the price include postage? Where are you based? Thanks
 9. Bought my trusty Fender P Lyte (MIJ). Great communication, fast payment and patience while I got myself together to dispatch. Highly recommended.
 10. Bump. Price reduced to £300 delivered, not going any lower than that.
 11.
Hi, Are you interested in trades? Cheers Martin
PM me and let's see what you have that I might want but ATM I'm leaning more toward a straight sale or PX with cash my way.
 12. Bought his Tascam GB-10 and collected from his home as I live nearby. Great communication and great guy to deal with.

 14.
Do you know what make it is? Squier? I'm interested.
No idea, sorry. Bought it on eBay and the seller couldn't remember what brand it was. Standard neck pocket though.
 15. My weapon of choice for many years, I doesn't get a look in now I have my lightweight Warmoth P bitsa. According to this, dated to 1990-91. The Good:

Tobacco burst finish with matching headstock.
P/J pickups (original ones).
Very lightweight, around 7 1/2 lbs, which is good for my back and shoulder.
Gold Hardware.
Passive electronics, Ki0gon wiring loom, vol/vol/tone 3-way toggle (original electronics included).
Drop Tuner (original included).
AMAZING neck, in terms of feel and playability.
Jazz width at nut.
Has a great set-up.
Although I haven't tried it, I understand it is good for metal, djent, etc.
The Not-So-Good

Chipped off paint on body at neck heel. Put a bit of clear nail varnish and that took care of it.
General dings, swirls and light scratches. It's had a life!
With my bad back, tried one of those straps that go around your waist, which meant putting and extra strap pin on the bottom horn. Didn't work for me, so removed it but hole is still there. Could be filled with something but invisible from the front, so never bothered.
Gold hardware a little tarnished especially the bridge, which has wear as well.
Drop tuner not an exact match. No one has ever noticed or cared.
[s]£325 [/s]£300 including UK mainland delivery. Less if you pick it up from my home in east Herts or we meet up somewhere on my regular travels around Hertfordshire (weekdays) and Essex (weekends) Case not included but could be for an extra £25. Other that it's missing a 'foot', it's as new.
