Bought this a few months ago on eBay as an ex-demo. I wanted to try out a Musicman style bass to see if I liked it, without too much outlay. I knew this one wouldn't be too heavy and I was right. Not sure exactly how much it weighs but it's about 8 1/2 lbs at a guess.

Well, I'm hooked! It sounds great and is great to play. Had some sharp fret edges but had these sorted out. I want to trade up to a higher level instrument of the same style. Can't be any heavier than this bass.

The Good
Sounds amazing. Aggressive but can be toned down by turning down input gain on amp.
Wilkinson hardware, including pickup.
Relatively light because of the poplar body.
Beautiful wood grain on maple fretboard.

The Bad
Tiny crack in finish where neck meets body. Invisible from the front.
Tuner on D string a bit stubborn but works.
